Evaluation Task 6

1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

2. First of all, I used a MacBook, I was happy to be using the as we've had it a while, so I feel confident in using it, and I felt that with it's speed I was able to get things done a little bit quicker than I would of if i'd of been on a p.c.

3. The camera I used for my pictures was a Canon EOS 550D SLR. It's not actually my camera, it's my brother's however after he'd shown me the ropes, I managed quite well with it. Due to it being so complex, I could also get a lot of different effects and options on the photos, which I was really pleased with.

4. Before I took Media Studies at A Level, i had never used Photoshop before. However now that I have, I feel much more confident with it, and quite like it for it’s various effects and editing tools that can be used to your advantage.I believe that my confidence in the software comes across in my work as I believe it has a professional finish.

5. I have been using Scribd throughout my media project. Although it is very useful, I find it very slow and at times irritating. Despite this, I do think that i’d miss it if I wasn’t able to use to anymore.

6. Blogger has probably been the most useful and efficient way to upload work on the internet that i’ve ever used. Since beginning media I have been extremely impressed with Blogger as it allows you to completely unique area which can be customised to your individual settings. The one thing that I do however feel that they could improve is the text box, and also the alignment of pictures..

7. Slide Share is very similar to Scribd, however for PowerPoint's. I have used it many times and have found it to be reliable and a very useful program.

8. I believe that animoto is one of the best pieces of software I had available to me. I believe that it gives a very professional finish to Power Point’s . I’d of been lost without these software for my pitch, so I’m very grateful for it.
