Who is the target audience and how do you know?
The target audience is aimed at men aged around 19-40. I know it is
aimed at men because stereotypically men are more involved in films and
movies more than females are. Although this doesn’t exclude them from the
wider audience. The red masthead is used to help promote the magazine to men
because men find the colour red attractive. The fact on this issue the dominant
image is a picture of harry potter as a young boy, which could also appeal to a
slighter younger audience (teens).

What written and visual language is there?
Written language is what the audience can take in from reading the text
on the cover, or within the magazine.
The visual language is what the audience can take in from any images on the
cover for example: Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter has blood on his face,
he looks angry and has dirt on his face.

Outline codes and conventions and how they entice the reader?
