My Thesis Statement is:
Culturally I am:
• 60% American
• 15% African-American
• 24% German
• 1% Irish
Genetically I am:
• 50% African-American
• 12.5% Irish
• 12.5% Scottish

There is A LOT of American art in my house. I have:

My grandma has (who lives in Colorado) is an artist. She made some of the bowls and plates and coffee
mugs in the cupboards in my house and she has made very beautiful works of art.
She has even made my little sister commit to becoming a famous artist when she grows up.

THERE IS BRIGHTER CLOTHING AND DARKER OR DULLER
CLOTHING OR YOU COULD HAVE BOTH IN ONE. FOR EXAMPLE:
BRIGHTER: NEON COLORS, PINK, BLUE, YELLOW AND SOMETIMES
WHITE.
THERE ARE ALSO DULLER COLORS SUCH AS:
GREY, BLACK, BROWN, AND SOMETIMES WHITE IS INCLUDED. TO
ME, WHITE CAN BE DULL OR BRIGHT JUST DEPENDING ON WHAT
SHADE IT IS.
13. MY RELIGION
I don’t have a very strong religion.
I do believe in god, but I also believe that evolution created the world that we live in right now.
I don’t go to church except for on every Easter.
I celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Easter, The 4th Of July, Veterans Day, My Birthday (Of course! ),
Presidents’ Day, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Etc.
When we do Easter or Christmas we don’t really consider them as religious holidays. We just consider
them as the Family Get-Along type of holidays.

My conclusion is that even though being 50% African-American, 12.5% Irish, 12.5% Scottish, and 25%
German genetically really does NOT blend in with my culture of being mostly American, tiny bit African-
American, a small bit of German, the miniest piece of Irish, and I have a lot of different cultural items -like
from Thai bet- around my house, I am still very happy with who I am:
