• The week kicks off with the Homecoming Parade. The parade
consists of the fraternities and sororities affiliated with the
university, learning communities and the cultural centers of the
Student Union.
3. The Homecoming
Carnival is the next big
event of homecoming
week. It will start
immediately after the
parade ends. The
carnival is free and
students can enjoy
numerous rides,
activities, games, music
and food.

4. Lip Sync is one of the biggest events of homecoming week. Different organizations of
UConn compete in a lip syncing competition for the chance to be named the lip
syncing champions of the year. Organizations must come up with a skit that consists of
acting, dancing, attractive sets and costumes and most importantly lip syncing. The
rules and guidelines are very strict so every detail has to be on point.

5. The last event of homecoming week is the Husky
Road show. Buses leaving in front of the student
union will take students to the homecoming
football game. Bus tickets cost $2.
