Marriages
By Naru, Anny & Benja
BIRTH / EARLY LIFE
Born in San Francisco on February
24, 1955 to Joanne Carole Schieble
and Abdulfattah John Jandali.
Adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of
Mountain View, California
They gave him the name “Steven
Paul Jobs”
Marriages
EDUCATION
In 1972,he
enrolled at
Reed College
in Oregon.
But, there
was little
problem, he
couldn’t pay.
Marriages
In 1972, Steve
Jobs dropped
out of Reed
College in
Portland after
just one
semester.
Marriages
He stayed another 18
months to “drop in” to
those classes he enjoyed,
like calligraphy.
Calligraphy didn’t have
any obvious practical
application in his life but it
would come back to Jobs
when he created the Mac.
Marriages
Apple
His friends were
also interested in
electronics and
his most
obsessed friend
was Steven
Wozniak “Woz”
Gift giving
 Wozniak used the
micro processor to
design his own
computer. He was then
working for the
computer company
Hewlett- Packard, but
the company was not
interested in
developing his product.
Birthdays
 Steve Jobs has never
underestimated the
power of vision to move
a brand forward. In
1976, Steve Wozniak
was captivated by Jobs’
vision to “put a
computer in the hands
of everyday people.”
Birthdays
On April 1, 1976, the Apple
Computer Co. was
formed.
Their first PC, the Apple I,
sold for $666.66, and was
released in 1976
The Apple II, which was
released the next year,
was a huge success
Birthdays
Jobs suggested the
name Apple for
their new business
venture, perhaps
because it
reminded him of
when he worked in
an apple orchard
as a student.
Birthdays
The Apple I was
Born on April 1st, 1
976
Apple I designed
and prototype built
First single board
computer with built-
in video interface
Birthdays
The Apple II was
presented to the
public in 1977.
Its attractive
plastic case made
it look very
different from the
computers that
had come before.
Birthdays
 The Macintosh
was launched in
January 1984, but
by that time there
were signs of
change in the
world of personal
computers.
Birthdays
The Macintosh was
the world’s first
computer with
beautiful fonts and
typography. If Steve
Jobs hadn’t
followed his
passion, we’d still
be entering line
commands.
Birthdays
Apple crumbles
 Apple needed an
experienced business
person to lead the
company.
 In 1983, John Sculley, a
former executive with the
soft drink company
Pepsi, was chosen by
Jobs to be Apple’s new
CEO
Gift giving
Jobs, John Sculley and Wozniak
“Do you want to spend the
rest of your life selling
sugared water or do you
want the chance to change
the world?”
- Steve Jobs when luring
Pepsi’s John Sculley to join
Apple.

Microsoft
 Like Jobs, Bill
Gates founded his
company in the
1970s. When Jobs
was forced to leave
Apple in 1985,
Gates was able to
guide Microsoft to
dominate the world
of software.
Gift giving
In the late 70s, Apple
asked for a 'software'
Microsoft chart for
Macintosh; shortly after
Gates announced
Windows, the 'clone' of the
system that Jobs planned
to release previously
Gift giving
Jobs said: “The only
problem with Microsoft is
they just have no taste.
They have absolutely no
taste…they don’t think of
original ideas, and they
don’t bring much culture
into their products.”

May,1985 Jobs
Gets Fired :
The Global
media was all

Return to apple
 When Jobs returned to Apple in
1997 after a 12-year absence,
Apple faced an uncertain future.
Jobs closed his presentation
that year at Macworld in Boston
with an observation that set the
tone for Apple’s resurgence: “I
think you have to think
differently to buy an Apple
computer. A lot of times people
think they’re crazy, but in that
craziness we see genius.”
Gift giving
In 1996 Apple
bought NeXT for
$427 million.
Jobs became de chief of
apple after then-CEO Gil
Amelio
Gift giving
1998 iMac Think
Different.
In 2001 introduced the
iPod.
In 2007 introduced the
iPhone then the iPad.
In August 2011, Jobs
resigned as CEO of
Apple.
Gift giving
Apple Store
 Jobs has made the Apple Store
the gold standard in customer
service by introducing simple
innovations any business can
adopt to create deeper, more
emotional connections with their
customers. For example, there
are no cashiers in an Apple
store. There are experts,
consultants, even geniuses, but
no cashiers.

10 iLessons from Steve Jobs
 Your work is going
to fill a large part of
your life, and the
only way to be truly
satisfied is to do
what you believe is
great work. And the
only way to do
great work is to
love what you do. If
you haven't found
it yet, keep looking.
Clothing
"Being the
richest man in
the cemetery
doesn't matter
to me... Going
to bed at night
saying we've
done something
wonderful. that's
what matters to
me"
Marriages
iLesson #2: Make a Dent in the Universe
iLesson #3: Think Different "Kick start your brain.
New ideas come
from watching
something, talk to
people,
experimenting,
asking questions and
getting out of the
office!"
Marriages
Clothing
"Your
customers
dream of a
happier and
better life.
Don't move
products.
Enrich lives"
 "We think the Mac will
sell zillions, but we
didn't build the Mac for
anybody else. We built
it for ourselves. We
were the group of
people who were going
to judge whether it was
great or not. We
weren't going to go out
and do market
research. We just
wanted to build the
best thing we could
build."
Marriages
"It's only by saying
no that you can
concentrate on the
things that are
really important."
Marriages
"That's been one of my
mantras - focus and
simplicity. Simple can be
harder than complex: You
have to work hard to get
your thinking clean to
make it simple. But it's
worth it in the end because
once you get there, you
can move mountains."
Clothing
iLesson #7: Keep It Simple
 "That's been one of
my mantras - focus
and simplicity. Simple
can be harder than
complex: You have to
work hard to get your
thinking clean to
make it simple. But
it's worth it in the end
because once you
get there, you can

Marriages
iLesson 8: Go For Excellence
 "Here's to the crazy
ones, the misfits, the
rebels, the
troublemakers, the round
pegs in the square
holes... the ones who
see things differently -
they're not fond of rules.
because the ones who
are crazy enough to
think that they can
change the world, are
the ones who do."

at Stanford
 "If today were the last
day of my life, would I
want to do what I am
about to do today?"
And whenever the
answer has been
"No" for too many
days in a row, I know
I need to change
something."

And one more thing
Marriages
"Don't waste your time
living someone else's
life.
Stay hungry.
Stay foolish.“
