Medicine, Revenue and a Good Time Essays
There is a substance that is readily available in almost any given community that has the power to heal many diseases, bring in billions of dollars in
revenue and just make you feel overall very relaxed and good. It has been medically proven to cure many diseases ranging from cancer to
Alzheimer's. There have been many different economic studies that have shown this substance, if legalized, will generate billions of dollars of
economic revenue. This could help our economy tremendously in its current slump. Lastly this substance will make you feel amazing and relaxed. It
will allow your creativity to flow and for you to imagine things you have never imagined before. This great substance is none other than, Marijuana.

One study showed that when you start with alcohol and tobacco you progress easily to marijuana but when you start with marijuana you don't go on to
use anything else. "In one National Institute on Drug Abuse–funded study, researchers from the University of Pittsburgh tracked the drug use patterns
of 224 boys, starting at age 10 to 12 and ending at age 22. Right from the beginning these kids confounded expectations. Some followed the
traditional gateway paradigm, starting with tobacco or alcohol and moving on to marijuana, but some reversed the pattern, starting with marijuana
first. And some never progressed from one substance to another at all." One of the biggest proponents for the legalization of marijuana is so that it can
be used as medicine. It has been scientifically proven to have a variety of medical uses and may be able to cure or slow the effects of cancer. It is also
a very safe drug as said here by Lester Grinspoon, "And it is extraordinarily safe–safer than most medicines prescribed every day. If marijuana were a
new discovery rather than a well–known substance carrying cultural and political baggage, it would be hailed as a wonder drug." I completely agree
with the last statement as well. If marijuana was not tied to the cultural baggage that it is a harm causing substance then I am almost certain it would be
seen by most of the country as a miracle drug. Currently all over there are pharmaceutical companies

Random Student Drug Testing (RSDT) Essay
What is drug testing? Drug testing is an examination of biologic material such as urine, hair, saliva, or sweat to detect the presence of specific drugs
and determine prior drug use. Student random drug testing programs, RSDT, is increasingly common (Edwards). RSDT can help identify the students
who are already abusing illicit drugs. Yet most schools onlydrug test the students, when they should also be drug testing the teachers and staff. Illicit
drug use interferes with the ability to learn, affects other students learning and disrupts the teaching environment (Random).
Although drug testing at first glance seems like a good idea, it may not be the best decision for every circumstance. Drug testing in high schools will

Any person doing extracurricular activities are less likely to abuse drugs or engage in any other dangerous behavior. They will most likely, also stay
in school, earn higher grades, and achieve their goals in life (Verma). What are the legal side effects of drug testing in schools? In court cases
concerning drug testing in schools, the focus has been on the legality of drug testing. Specifically, the courts have grappled with balancing the
individual student's right to privacy versus the school's responsibility to provide a safe, drug–free school environment. Relatively little concern has
been given to the effectiveness of drug testing for prevention or cessation, with effectiveness often being assumed.
One of the earliest cases involving drug testing in schools was Schaill v. Tippecanoe
School Corporation. The Tippecanoe school district required random drug testing for athletes, which was contested by two students. The United States
District Court deemed the policy constitutional because the school district had a prior problem with illicit drug use among student athletes, and the
drug–testing policy clearly stated that a positive drug test would not lead to suspensions or expulsions from school. Instead, students would be referred
to counseling. Parents and students were also made aware of the policy and were required to sign a consent form. This case argued that participation in
school athletics was a privilege, not a right, in school (Yamaguchi).

What Is The Difference Between Camaro And Mustang
The Camaro and Mustang are two of the most iconic muscle cars in America. In a couple ways both cars are very similar. However, both cars are less
alike than they are similar. The major differences between the new 2016 V–8 Camaro and Mustang are the engine, top speeds, and their handling on the
road. The first major difference and most important between the two cars is the engine. Although both are V–8 engines they have many differences
between them. For example, the Camaro's new 6.2–liter engine is the same as the one found in the Corvette, and at its peak puts out 455 horsepower
and 455 pounds of torque. On the other hand, the new Mustang's engine is a 5.0 liter, that although is very powerful falls short of the Camaro, with a

The search results were somehow limited. It was apparent that my search was not providing me with relevant data, so I then changed my
keyword to "handwashing" where I found 3,087 Literature Search Paper 3 articles. Again, the search was very limited. Realizing the need to
narrow the search, I then used the CINAHL Subject Headings as a component for my search. Subject Heading Search Keeping note that the
keyword retrieval left me with 3,087 articles, I then used CINAHL Headings for my search. The CINAHL Heading search allows the search of
literature with certain terms desired in the references. By typing "hand washing" under the CINAHL Heading and browsed, I was given terms that
were related to hand washing. The terms were ranked based on the relevancy of importance related to the subject. Handwashing was the first term
found and by clicking on its link, I was taken to a term detailed screen. Listed was handwashing under the "Tree View" terms, which are hierarchy
groupings of subject headings. The subheadings were also found here. I chose handwashing and infection control. By clicking on the subheadings and
the "Explode" link, I then gained access to articles that contained terms about handwashing or infection control. The "Explode" link is thought of as an

America Will Never Achieve Racial and Social Equality: Racial equality is when all races are treated equally. Social equality is when all individuals
in a society have the same rights and beliefs. Most believe that America will never achieve racial and social equality. There are many reasons that
follow behind this belief. Reasons and information on this subject will state why people America will never achieve racial and social equality.

Races should treat each others the way they want the other race to treat them. To me that is so disrespectful how people in general treat each other.
Judging is another major topic don't judge a book by its cover. I feel as if we stopped this and ended racial equality more social between people
could happen. This is the century we have to change what we believe in. As difficult times are ahead of us and approach us. This is when a we need
to change. This is when we need to make a move so a lot of change can stat happening. Not for the better of one race but for the better of every race
and everyone in general. We need to end this racial prejudice all together its becoming too much and too many movements are happening in effect of
it. A lot of acts happened during the civil rights movements. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the main host of most of the acts that happened during this
time. He dedicated a decade of his life to see if he could pursuit racial equality and social justice. He fought for what he believe in and that's what I

Are you worried that your child will develop aggressive behavior, because of the violent games they play? Many media outlets are quick to point
fingers; all directed at the assumed cause that video games are at the problem. This leads parents to believe their kid should not play violent video
games, and that the video games leads to increased aggressive attitude; when in reality it is a useful tool that helps kids, teens, and adults deal with
stress and anger that they deal with in their life.

world. She categorized parents in three different categories, the Enabler, Limiter, and Mentor. The Enabler Parents let their kids free to use the internet.
They trust their kids online, and they also take cues from other parents who use technology. The children of enablers explore the online world without
the help from their parents. The second one is Limiter Parents, they prefer to keep their kids away the internet. They limit screen time. Their kids are

therefore, without the support or participation of these publics, the equity program would be going to waste and would fail to benefit the community.
(Secondary Publics) For the equity program and strategic plan to be successful, those who take advantage of what's available will need to influence
those around them and recommend the services. Local physicians in the medical field may also suggest patients to visit the Health Unit due to their

The Problem Of Climate Change
There are millions of planets that has the possibility to sustain life on a planet, but not a single one we know of like earth. fermi paradox says there
are things called life barriers and there are certain barriers that have "filters". filters only let the smartest lifeforms through them if they are real. They
state electricity and earth or ourselves evolution are huge barriers that was destroyed. If an asteroid hit the earth or nuclear warfare happens it is a
huge reason we have lost. According to the fermi paradox we either pass this wall (barrier) or not. I have my conclusion of why we will fail, it is
because humans are selfish, hard headed, fool mined incompetent beings. Climate change is the barrier that we don 't really have any research on. El
ninos and la ninas are the cause. To know El NiГ±o, you need to know the intercoarse between the ocean and the atmosphere. Warm ocean surface
water currents heats and adds moistness to the air above it, forming a low pressure system. Cool surface water cools the air above it, forming a high
pressure system . In a Low, the warm, moist air produces tropical thunderstorms. In a High, cool, parched air sinks back to the surface and there is no
precipitation. Together, the High and Low create a circulation pattern in which surface winds blow toward the Low and higher–level winds rushes
toward the High. An El nino come from the spanish word little boy. It was found by fisherman by the coast of south america in the 1600s

Research Paper On Abstinence
It has been almost thirty three years since the first federal funding was put to use in ". . . sex education programs that promote
abstinence–only–until–marriage to the exclusion of all other approaches . . ." according to the article "Sex education" (2010) published by "Opposing
Viewpoints in Context;" a website that specializes in covering social issues. Since then a muddy controversy has arisen over whether that is the best
approach. On one hand is the traditional approach of abstinence (not having sex before marriage), and on the other is the idea that what is being done

thought that teens should get more information about abstinence, 8% that they should get more information about birth control, 73% that they should
get more information about both abstinence and birth control or protection, 4% didn't know, and 1% refused to answer. For teens (12–19), 7% percent

Motivating Minority Students Essay
Motivating Minority Students I selected the topic of motivating minority students because my school already has many different minority students
and I feel that this is an area that could improve the year for them. I am pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Teaching and Curriculum. I
feel that the more I learn about instruction for different types of students, the better I will be able to mentor other educators to do so. At my school,
Hispanic students, both male and female, and also African American males are three groups whose basic skills testing indicates that they are behind
other minorities. I view this data as another important reason to learn successful ways to motivate the students in these three groups. Key Words and

Finding a Research Topic and Exploring the Library The area of interest I have chosen to explore is the connection between the inclusion of a real
world curriculum and student motivation levels in the mathematics classroom. Lack of student motivation is a common problem I experience as a high

academic achievement, poor high stakes testing scores, and lack of conceptual understanding. I have chosen to further explore this area of interest

The incorporation of a real world curriculum has been shown to not only increase student motivation levels and academic achievement, but also to
increase critical thinking and problem solving skills (Brown, Brown, Reardon, & Merrill, 2011). A real world curriculum refers to any
application of the concepts begin learned in the classroom to concepts in the real world (Garrii & Okumu, 2008). When students become more
motivated, they tend to make better grades, as well as gain a more complete understanding of the concepts being taught. Because of the positive
results observed from the inclusion of a real world curriculum, educators are encouraged to include a real world component in their curriculum
(Dixon & Brown, 2012). What are Key Words and how do They Help with Searches? Key words are words that are used during the research process to
find resources over a specific topic. A key word helps with searches by acting as a key to information, guiding the researcher towards relevant
resources and aiding in the research process. Key words are used to yield search results related to a specific area of interest. Key words are important
because there may be occasions in which the title of an article does not clearly indicate relevance to the area of interest. Through the use of key words,

to utilize the tools of keywords and search limiters to assist my searches in the Northcentral Library and other sources. Another tool to take advantage
of is the use of peer–reviewed materials. Using these will help me save time and focus on the really good material instead of material that may not

middle school allowing me to become a better educator and one who can help others to motivate their students.

successfully with different types of students. My topics are 1) Inclusion of Special Education Students in Regular Education Classes, 2) Motivating

An educational journey consists of effective study habits which will require researching various sources, managing personal/family life, and balancing
work and school. Research is very important. It will either hurt you or help you, depending on your research skills and time management skills.
Research helps link one's ideas to true and tested studies that can help prove a stance on a particular subject matter. When one is able to provide
information backed up by empirical studies, one's information can begin to flourish. For example, think about the various magazines that are sold
nationwide. The National Enquirer is seen to be a false, untrue magazine that provides information about subject matters that are not even true. Even
though, the National Enquirer is a great attention getter, there are surmountable people who know the stories printed inside are not believable. In
regards to research, students should seek out reputable sources that can enhance their writing skills which in turn will help to write a better paper.
Research provides valuable knowledge for the student. The student may already know the information but the research will give added seasoning to
that knowledge. Just like cooking, one knows how to cook a turkey but, it's the seasonings that will bring the turkey to life. Those seasoning ideas may
come from various individuals.

Synthesis Essay: Do People Make A Change?
These days, it is hard to find someone to look up to and follow. Have you ever wanted to make a change in the world, but not totally sure where to
start? Sometimes the hardest part in making a change is standing up for what you believe in and not changing your views to make other people happy.

Guns Get Into Wrong Hands Essay
Aldin Jusupovic, SEI, ?When Guns Get Into Wrong Hands? 11 When Guns Get into Wrong Hands Introduction Over the years in the United States
of America, there has been a lot of gun violence especially in the past couple of years. With so many lives being affected because of gun violence it
is the people?s mission to explore ways we can minimize the gun violence and keep our communities safe for everyone. Is there a correlation between
the laws that we have for gun control and do they promote gun violence in our communities? Whether it?s being caught in crossfire in poor
communities such as the projects or it is a person committing a terrible act of violence we have to start to have laws that prohibit gun violence.
Amendment Rights Of course, there are people that do not want to have a law that ban the firearms because they believe in the second Amendment.
The second amendment of the United States Constitution states: ?A well–regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of
the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.? It is part of the constitution and it is how our culture was developed. Our citizens want to
have their rights of carrying firearms to protect themselves in need of help. The president can never make a law that will ban people from
committing terrible acts like school shootings. There is steps we can take to decrease the chances of school shootings by having better background
checks for every gun that is sold, we

NCU Concepts to Analyze Research
After reviewing the required books and resources for Week 4, I have learned that NCU has provided a library of resources to help support my
studies. From the books and resources that I read to help complete my assignment this week, I have learned how to distinguish between scholarly and
peer reviewed journals. When you limit your results to both scholarly and peer–reviewed journals, it does not mean that all results will be scholarly and
peer reviewed. One must be able to distinguish the distinction when using the Roadrunner Search; however, with the help of the ProQuest – Advance
Search, one can specifically ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Understanding Peer–Review Articles
Peer – reviewed articles are the scholarly sources that one will use to support or argue a research paper. Scholars and experts within the field write
them. Peer reviewed articles that one use to include in research will be from those who had their work published in a scholarly journal. In regards to
submitting research, peer reviewed is an academic term used to define quality control in scholarly writing. Through the process of peer reviewed,
articles must be deemed appropriate prior to being published in a scholarly journal. This means that experts within the field will access the quality of
research submitted for publication in a scholarly journal. Experts in the field are reviewers who specialize in the same scholarly areas as the person
submitting the article for review. Through peer review, reviewers will carefully evaluate the quality of the document, check for accuracy, assess the
rationality of research methods and procedures, and suggest revisions or rejections.
Conclusion
Based on what I have learned this week about NCU's library, I was able to formulate a topic and find articles based on my area of interest. The topic
of interest that I would like to focus on is the effects of academic advising on student development in higher education. This topic is important to me
because there are many students who go through college not knowing who their academic advisor is,

Why The Death Penalty Is Wrong?
The death penalty, while simple in concept, is sadly complex in execution. There are laws on when the death penalty may be used and how the death
happens. There is a supposed racial and social bias on a process that is still debated whether or not it is still constitutional. The victim's family
themselves are debate for and against it. It is those debates may take years to decide whether or not to kill the suspect.
The weird thing is that we have used the death penalty for centuries. In Biblical times, the death penalty was used for crimes that we don't use the death
penalty for (Bushman). There are laws nowadays that determines when one could receive the death penalty. The majority includes murder, or murder

white victims (Bushman). There are thirty–one death row cases involving a white person killing a black person, but there are 297 death row cases the
other way around (Race and Death). The reason for that is because judges and juries are six times less likely to impose the death penalty when the
victim is black (Tucker). It doesn't just targets a race, but the poor as well. Justice Ruth Bader Grinsburg has said, "People who are represented well
in trial don't get the death penalty" (Bushman).OJ Simpson's lawyer was paid over five million dollars to defend him, and has said, "There are no

Antigua Colonization : Sugar Is Sweeter With Slavery Essay
Antigua Colonization: Sugar is Sweeter with Slavery
Antigua is an island in the region of the Caribbean in the West Indies. It is also known as Waladii by the natives. Antigua is part of the country of
Antigua & Barbuda. Barbuda, about sixty eight square miles, is a flat coral island about thirty miles north of Antigua. Antigua is in the midst of the
Leeward Islands in the Eastern region of the Caribbean. Antigua is the largest of the English speaking Leeward Islands. Antigua is one hundred and
eight miles long. The average temperature is about seventy five degrees year round which makes for low humidity. Between Antigua and Barbuda the
larger of the two islands is Antigua. The island country has vast natural resources and a tropical climate. For example sugar cane was a cash crop for
the country. Therefore the island easily became a hub for new countries to invade who wanted said resources. Correspondingly many countries
attempted to stake their claim however, only one was successful. Although Britain brought about changes in culture and creed in Antigua they also
brought about enslavement and disease so therefore British control has hurt Antigua rather than helped.
Before Britain arrived the island of Antigua was filled with natives. For example,"Later, A.D. 1200–1300, two Amerindian societies with opposing
lifestyles coexisted; the peaceful and pottery–making Arawaks, and the fierce and warlike Caribs. Arawaks came here for clay, a resource in short

Finding A Research Topic And Exploring The Library
Finding a Research Topic and Exploring the Library
Students with disabilities are covered under the Federal Law of free and appropriate education, also knowns as FAPE. This law ensures that students
with disabilities are serviced in the best environment that will not negatively impact their educational access due to their disability. Some students with
disabilities needs are best met in an inclusive setting. This would include a special education teacher and a general education teacher. In some
co–teaching classrooms, there is the misunderstanding of what co–teaching or inclusion should look like, or for some, how to evaluate its effectiveness.
Dr, Maureen Pugach (March 2011) states in her article that special educators often take a back seat in the general education classroom, as opposed to
truly co–teaching. Teachers who co–teach should be co–planning and co–assessing. However, there seems to be an abstention of these practices in the
inclusion setting. There is a true benefit to students academically, socially and emotionally when there are two teachers fully invested in the inclusive
classroom model.
My Topic of Interest and Why It Is Important to Me A true inclusive model classroom should encompass co
–planning, co–instructing, and co–assessing.
These tools will hold both teachers accountable and valued in the classroom. There are documented studies where special education teachers feel like
glorified teaching assistants. Unfortunately, the experience of being on both

Zoroastrianism: The Persian Empire
Persia's Religion and Intellectual The Persian Empire made many contributions to the world. One of their ideas that has expanded is Zoroastrianism
which is one of world's ancient religions that the Persians practiced. Zoroastrianism is so influential because their rulers hold imperial powers for about
1,000 years. A male prophet named Zarathustra preached thisreligion. His religion, also known as Zoroastrianism, started out in the Iranian
community and then Cyrus, the Great of Persia, adopted it. Another male prophet they had was Zoroaster. He had a series of visions; one of them
was seeing Ahura Mazada as God himself, who created eternal being and the battle ground between good and evil. The Zoroastrian religion beliefs

One philosophy the Persians had was Zarathustra's teachings that had a powerful impact on other societies, like Judaism. Additionally, the motivation
with the Zoroastrian literature started with Alexander's defeat of the Persian Empire. Around the 6th century B.C, the Persians moved toward southern
Iran, where they reoccupied abandoned villages, build new towns, and engaged in rigorous agricultural occasions like animal husbandry. The Persians
had a law system that was divided up into local laws and national laws; this was one of the key parts of their culture. Some key documents, Persians
have is the Avesta, which is a book that contains hymns, prayers, and the main beliefs of Zoroastrianism. In addition, it has a lot of sacred text that was
written in different languages. Persian scientist contributed a lot to the understanding of nature, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. The items
they invented were irrigation systems and the development of medicine. In addition, Abu Ali Al–Hassan is known as the father of optics, which is a
part of physics. He found that the atmosphere has a definite height and that twilight is triggered by refraction of solar radiation. Another scientist

Gun Control: The Prevention of Mass Shootings Essay
Guns have been used throughout history for war, hunting, and protection. Since then, the killing capacity and speed of guns has improved dramatically.
Guns have been a part of American culture from its roots. However, as times have changed and guns are no longer a necessity, gun control has become
increasingly urgent to prevent unnecessary crime and killings. Guns should be banned for everyone but the law enforcement and military. Guns should
be banned to prevent mass shootings and lower crime rates, while being supported by history and the constitution. An ever increasing emphasis on the
prevention of mass shootings has presented the option of gun control and bans. Mass shootings have occurred many times throughout history, but have

However such bans are ineffective at preventing mass shootings as "Adam Lanza had plenty of time to reload his guns, as did the shooters at Texas
Tech in 2007 and Columbine in 1999" (Domenech n.p.) and "assault weapons...applied to guns used or carried by criminals in at most 2 percent of
all gun crimes" (Domenech n.p.). Because of the ineffectiveness of gun control, background checks, and assault weapon bans, the best way to prevent
mass shootings is to ban gun use altogether. While mass shootings cause a huge unnecessary loss of life, most killings in the United States come from
murders and crimes. Guns should be banned to lower crime rates. Because "more than 70% of homicides are committed with a firearm" (Cannon n.p.)
and 2."14% of inmates reported that they used, carried, or possessed a firearm while committing the offense for which they were imprisoned. Of these
13% reported that they discharged the firearm" (Cannon n.p.), criminals definitely use guns to commit crimes. Since guns have such a crucial role in
crimes, any actions to reduce gun circulation would surely reduce crime. However gun restrictions have had mixed results when tested in large cities.
"New York has highly restrictive gun control,

Disproportionate Special Education
This summary will look at the disproportionate representation of minorities in special education. Second, I will review key concepts for researching a
topic.
Education should be a fundamental and constitutional right for everyone. For minorities, this is not always the case. Researching the history of race in
America, I question how did this topic develop and why is it still of concern? Consequently, the history of special education among minorities resulted
from discrimination and exclusion (Skiba, Simmons, Ritter, Gibb, Rausch, Cuadrado, & Chung, 2008).
The practice of placing African–Americans at a lower intellectual scale after an assessment assured that segregation and superiority would still exist.
Consequently, this led to minority students being classified as lower–class people and according to most were not worthy of receiving an education
(Skiba et al., 2008). Brown vs. Board of Education was a legal case that took notice of educational disparities, ended school segregation, and secured
educational justice for African–Americans and students with disabilities (Stassfeld, 2017). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Using Three Search Techniques For A Comprehensive And...
Aveyard (2014) recommends for a comprehensive and systematic search to use three search techniques;
пѓ±An electronic search of databases.
пѓ±A hand search from the reference list of published literature identified from the electronic search.
пѓ±An author search.
The author undertook an electronic search were used to collect the literature. Three electronic databases were used; Cumulative Index to Nursing and
Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Medline and PsychInfo. These three databases were chosen as they are often used by nurses, allied health
professionals, researchers, students and nurse educators to research their subject area (Aveyard, 2014).
To make the search more effective and efficient, the advanced search was used in all three databases. Utilising the advance search setting options over
the basic search setting allows the search to be made more specific (Aveyard, 2014, Moule & Goodman, 2009).
For an electronic search to be successful it is important to find the right key words or concepts required to retrieve the journal articles as journal
articles are indexed and entered onto the databases using keywords (Aveyard, 2014). The keywords for this literature review derived from the research
question and synonyms words (Schneider, Elliott, LoBiondo–Wood and Haber, 2004). The keywords identified and retrieved used a combination of the
following keywords; CPR, cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitat*, famil* and family carer*. The keywords 'family ', 'witnessed

Selection Criteria And Search Process And Research
Selection Criteria and Search Process There have been studies done using probiotics for various treatments, and amongst various age groups.
Therefore, to stick to my PICO question, the inclusion criteria for the search were adults (ages 18–70), AAD as an outcome, systematic reviews (SR),
meta–analysis (MA), randomized controlled trials (RCT's), studies conducted within the past 10 years, and of English language. Exclusion criteria
were studies that exclusively treated the elderly, pediatrics, or children. Studies conducted to treat a specific diagnosis were also excluded. My PICO
is an intervention question, so the best hierarchy levels of evidence to do research analysis on would be level I to III (Melynk & Fineout–Overholt,

I changed the search words to Lactobacillus, diarrhea, and antibiotics and applied the same limiters, but it did not generate any further significant
articles. Google Scholar was the final database searched. There are only a few search filters that can be applied in this database (Polit & Beck,
2017). The search words that were used were probiotics, diarrhea, and antibiotics adults. The Boolean "AND" was in the search bar, and the limiter of
2013–present. This search generated 9,900 articles. A disadvantage of Google Scholar is the inability to apply search filters and the reference list
is according to the number of times the article is referenced (Polit & Beck, 2017). I manually scrolled through the articles and I found one additional
RCT that fit my search criteria for best evidence. Selection of Best Evidence The selection criteria I utilized was based on sticking to the key PICO
words. Studies that involved both kids and adults I avoided, as my population being studied was strictly adults. Of the final 11 articles in PubMed, I
utilized three RCT's, and one systematic review/meta–analyses. Two of those eleven were studying babies/children in conjunction with adults, so I
excluded them. Another study focused only on the prevention of CDI, and there was no mention of AAD, so that was eliminated in order to stick to
my dependent variable of AAD. Three of the eleven were solely

The Inclusive Classroom
The Inclusive Classroom–Research Tips
The classroom, a place to learn, grow, and socialize. More than that, a classroom is a place you walk into on day one nervous and maybe even a little
bit scared, but when you walk out on the last day, you leave smarter, more confident, and more mature than when you arrived.Inclusion in its simples
form means exactly that to include. Inclusion has proven to enhance learning outcomes in the classroom not only from an educational stand point, but
from a social aspect as well. The benefits of inclusions in our schools has help all children to acquire social skills from each other. There is a greater
understanding that everyone has their unique strengths and weaknesses with a greater level of acceptance. Inclusion was not always been the case,
children with special needs were often kept separate from the regular student body regardless of the level of disability. The 90's s brought about changes
in legislation that changed the makeup of schools and classrooms. The following will provide information which will help in researching the topic of
Inclusion in the classroom.
Key words
When referring to inclusion in the classroom, it is commonly referring to the inclusion of children with disabilities alongside the regular education

Medicine, Revenue And A Good Time Essays

  • 1. Medicine, Revenue and a Good Time Essays There is a substance that is readily available in almost any given community that has the power to heal many diseases, bring in billions of dollars in revenue and just make you feel overall very relaxed and good. It has been medically proven to cure many diseases ranging from cancer to Alzheimer's. There have been many different economic studies that have shown this substance, if legalized, will generate billions of dollars of economic revenue. This could help our economy tremendously in its current slump. Lastly this substance will make you feel amazing and relaxed. It will allow your creativity to flow and for you to imagine things you have never imagined before. This great substance is none other than, Marijuana. Before we go more in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One study showed that when you start with alcohol and tobacco you progress easily to marijuana but when you start with marijuana you don't go on to use anything else. "In one National Institute on Drug Abuse–funded study, researchers from the University of Pittsburgh tracked the drug use patterns of 224 boys, starting at age 10 to 12 and ending at age 22. Right from the beginning these kids confounded expectations. Some followed the traditional gateway paradigm, starting with tobacco or alcohol and moving on to marijuana, but some reversed the pattern, starting with marijuana first. And some never progressed from one substance to another at all." One of the biggest proponents for the legalization of marijuana is so that it can be used as medicine. It has been scientifically proven to have a variety of medical uses and may be able to cure or slow the effects of cancer. It is also a very safe drug as said here by Lester Grinspoon, "And it is extraordinarily safe–safer than most medicines prescribed every day. If marijuana were a new discovery rather than a well–known substance carrying cultural and political baggage, it would be hailed as a wonder drug." I completely agree with the last statement as well. If marijuana was not tied to the cultural baggage that it is a harm causing substance then I am almost certain it would be seen by most of the country as a miracle drug. Currently all over there are pharmaceutical companies ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Random Student Drug Testing (RSDT) Essay What is drug testing? Drug testing is an examination of biologic material such as urine, hair, saliva, or sweat to detect the presence of specific drugs and determine prior drug use. Student random drug testing programs, RSDT, is increasingly common (Edwards). RSDT can help identify the students who are already abusing illicit drugs. Yet most schools onlydrug test the students, when they should also be drug testing the teachers and staff. Illicit drug use interferes with the ability to learn, affects other students learning and disrupts the teaching environment (Random). Although drug testing at first glance seems like a good idea, it may not be the best decision for every circumstance. Drug testing in high schools will not do very ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Any person doing extracurricular activities are less likely to abuse drugs or engage in any other dangerous behavior. They will most likely, also stay in school, earn higher grades, and achieve their goals in life (Verma). What are the legal side effects of drug testing in schools? In court cases concerning drug testing in schools, the focus has been on the legality of drug testing. Specifically, the courts have grappled with balancing the individual student's right to privacy versus the school's responsibility to provide a safe, drug–free school environment. Relatively little concern has been given to the effectiveness of drug testing for prevention or cessation, with effectiveness often being assumed. One of the earliest cases involving drug testing in schools was Schaill v. Tippecanoe School Corporation. The Tippecanoe school district required random drug testing for athletes, which was contested by two students. The United States District Court deemed the policy constitutional because the school district had a prior problem with illicit drug use among student athletes, and the drug–testing policy clearly stated that a positive drug test would not lead to suspensions or expulsions from school. Instead, students would be referred to counseling. Parents and students were also made aware of the policy and were required to sign a consent form. This case argued that participation in school athletics was a privilege, not a right, in school (Yamaguchi). Vernonia ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. What Is The Difference Between Camaro And Mustang The Camaro and Mustang are two of the most iconic muscle cars in America. In a couple ways both cars are very similar. However, both cars are less alike than they are similar. The major differences between the new 2016 V–8 Camaro and Mustang are the engine, top speeds, and their handling on the road. The first major difference and most important between the two cars is the engine. Although both are V–8 engines they have many differences between them. For example, the Camaro's new 6.2–liter engine is the same as the one found in the Corvette, and at its peak puts out 455 horsepower and 455 pounds of torque. On the other hand, the new Mustang's engine is a 5.0 liter, that although is very powerful falls short of the Camaro, with a still very ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

They state electricity and earth or ourselves evolution are huge barriers that was destroyed. If an asteroid hit the earth or nuclear warfare happens it is a huge reason we have lost. According to the fermi paradox we either pass this wall (barrier) or not. I have my conclusion of why we will fail, it is because humans are selfish, hard headed, fool mined incompetent beings. Climate change is the barrier that we don 't really have any research on. El ninos and la ninas are the cause. To know El NiГ±o, you need to know the intercoarse between the ocean and the atmosphere. Warm ocean surface water currents heats and adds moistness to the air above it, forming a low pressure system. Cool surface water cools the air above it, forming a high pressure system . In a Low, the warm, moist air produces tropical thunderstorms. In a High, cool, parched air sinks back to the surface and there is no precipitation. Since then a muddy controversy has arisen over whether that is the best approach. Motivating Minority Students Essay Motivating Minority Students I selected the topic of motivating minority students because my school already has many different minority students and I feel that this is an area that could improve the year for them. I am pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Teaching and Curriculum. For this Capstone Essay I have chosen to write about Divorce rates, and how they have been increasing over the years. Divorce can come about in many different ways, each unique in the reason of interest /motivation to get a divorce. Kipnis speaks entirely to an audience ripe for divorce; adulterers, fantasizers, the side chick/guy, or even the suspicious spouse. The reasons of increased divorce vary depending on the period of time that you are looking at, or the situation in which the divorce is taking place. Due to the increased rates of divorce it seems even the states themselves at one point took recognition, and tried to take action. They have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When it was first introduced as many as 24 states had churches lobby to get covenant marriage passed in to effect. Of these 24 states offered the chance of covenant marriage only three accepted the new idea. Further proof of Nock's statement regarding his doubt of covenant marriage spreading is within the very states that adopted the practice. The three states to accept the new stance on marriage were only Arkansas, Arizona and Louisiana. In the three years after Arkansas adopted the new law there were over 112,000 marriages that took place, while only around 800 of them actually committed to a covenant–marriage. In Louisiana and Arizona only a combined total three percent of marriages were covenant marriages. With little to no reception from the public the states effort to lower/eliminate divorce rates was to no avail. Historically speaking the rise in divorces could possibly be due to the ease of access. At–Fault Divorce is the process of divorce through which "grounds" for approval of the divorce were required. Originally those wanting to file for divorce had to have proof of a reason that proved incompatible to their marriage. This meant divorce was not readily available to all married couples, and even in the event they had chance to file for divorce there was still an opportunity it could not be approved. With so many lives being affected because of gun violence it is the people?s mission to explore ways we can minimize the gun violence and keep our communities safe for everyone. Is there a correlation between the laws that we have for gun control and do they promote gun violence in our communities? Whether it?s being caught in crossfire in poor communities such as the projects or it is a person committing a terrible act of violence we have to start to have laws that prohibit gun violence. The second amendment of the United States Constitution states: ?A well–regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.? It is part of the constitution and it is how our culture was developed. Our citizens want to have their rights of carrying firearms to protect themselves in need of help. In regards to submitting research, peer reviewed is an academic term used to define quality control in scholarly writing. Through the process of peer reviewed, articles must be deemed appropriate prior to being published in a scholarly journal. This means that experts within the field will access the quality of research submitted for publication in a scholarly journal. Experts in the field are reviewers who specialize in the same scholarly areas as the person submitting the article for review. Through peer review, reviewers will carefully evaluate the quality of the document, check for accuracy, assess the rationality of research methods and procedures, and suggest revisions or rejections. Antigua is in the midst of the Leeward Islands in the Eastern region of the Caribbean. Antigua is the largest of the English speaking Leeward Islands. Antigua is one hundred and eight miles long. Consequently, the history of special education among minorities resulted from discrimination and exclusion (Skiba, Simmons, Ritter, Gibb, Rausch, Cuadrado, & Chung, 2008). The practice of placing African–Americans at a lower intellectual scale after an assessment assured that segregation and superiority would still exist. Consequently, this led to minority students being classified as lower–class people and according to most were not worthy of receiving an education (Skiba et al., 2008).
