Black Alumni Reunion 2013
We invite you to "Save the Date" for our next Black Alumni Reunion scheduled to take place October 18-20,
2013. The theme for this reunion is: "Investing in Us: Past, Present and Future". Registration, pricing, hotel
accommodations and further event details will be shared in the coming months.

We are in need of volunteers to lead and/or participate on the following reunion committees:
 Promotions Committee – Implement various modes of communications to connect with alumni
 Programming and Events Committee – Establish programming and schedule of events
 Fundraising Committee – Identify funding opportunities and sources
 Awards Committee – Determine criteria and select alumni award recipients
 Media Committee – Assist with photography and videography services
Annual Dues Program
Alumni are strongly encouraged to help sustain IPC programming, events and initiatives for alumni and
students by paying dues on an annual basis. Dues will be paid using Brown’s alumni website. Further details
will be shared in the upcoming IPC Newsletter.
 $20 – Sustaining Membership (supports general programming, events and initiatives)
 $100 – Premium Membership (includes special limited edition Black Alumni Reunion souvenir)
 Greater than $100 – Additional Sponsorship (includes acknowledgement as an IPC sponsor)

Alumni of Color Initiative (AOCI)
Alumni have the opportunity to contribute to the Annual Fund through AOCI through June 2013 to build upon
the successful creation of the IPC Endowed Scholarship by establishing new Brown Annual Fund scholarships
($80k each) for students of color that we could complete this year and put to immediate use in the fall of 2013.
