  3. 3. Examples of Onomatopoeia• Cock-a-doodle-do, crowed the rooster.• The clock goes tick-tock.• With the click of a mouse, I can open a new window.• I heard the bees buzzing.• Don’t beep that horn again!• Drip, drip, drip went the faucet all day long.
  4. 4. What examples can you think of?• Turn to your shoulder partner and think of as many sound words for the following: – Animals (moo, chirp, etc.) – Food (crunch, sizzle, etc.) – Two things crashing together (bang, pow, etc.)
