Abbey National plc aims to increase the number of general home insurance policies. Abbey National's
mainly home insurance (buildings and contents). Abbey National to cover a much wider range of customer needs.
Project Overview:
Consumer Direct is an application developed by Capgemini UK which helped Abbey to revolutionize the
way it offers household insurance products in the marketplace. Consumer Direct AM Services are
to provide business enhancement change request (CR) and production
support to the Consumer Direct application for Abbey.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing and sizing up Business as usual (BAU) and change request (CR).
User’s card transaction information retrieves using datacash report System and stored in to datacash server.
Monitoring Aix boxes (Application servers, DB2 servers, Web servers, load balancer) getting log files information
and error scripts are updated in existing application.
We are doing Client data deployments in application servers, database servers and webservers in Pre-production
and production depend on client release notes.
We are archiving log files and bank wizard logs from application servers every month, archiving weblogs from
web server and managing to the appropriate channels in Aix boxes.
Involved in configuration of Web Sphere Application Server resources like JDBC Providers, JDBC Data Sources
and Connection Pooling to connect to DB2 Server.
The establish cluster in network deployment area for balance the load across the multiple servers using WLM.
