Arrival of refugees – they don't speak the language of that country, they
don't know anyone in the country nor even the customs of that country;
Concern of refugees in maintaining their traditions, culture and
language;
Cultural and language differences can generate prejudice and
xenophobia against refugees;
It is essential to come up with ways to resolve this problem, in order to
facilitate the full social integration of the refugees in their host
countries and to allow for multicultural coexistence

9. Various factors may influence the adaptation of the refugee:
• How the local government welcomes and deals with these refugees (if it
helps in the search for employment, residence and language learning);
• The information transmitted to local residents (expose positive or
negative points about the immigrants);
• The news broadcasted by the media;
Sometimes the means of communication and the information transmitted
in the media are distorted and only contain negative aspects on the arrival
of the refugees  This type of media behavior negatively influences the
way they are viewed before society.

identity;
Impossibility of a person to remain in their country of origin because of
violence  Immigration becomes the only possibility;
Difficulty of adaptation and insertion of a refugee in another country –
although this process represents a cultural impact, there are measures
that can be taken that will facilitate the adaptation of refugees in host
countries

The real challenge is not how to prevent refugees from migrating to
other countries, but how to create innovative and sustainable global
models of refugee assistance and multicultural ways of existence
without prejudice and violence.
