Judah, David, and Nebuchadnezzar were all humiliated for their sins and pride. Judah acknowledged that Tamar was more righteous than him after she tricked him into admitting that a signet ring, cord and staff belonged to him from sleeping with her. David admitted to Nathan that he had sinned in taking another man's wife after having the man killed. Nebuchadnezzar boasted about the greatness of Babylon that he built but was then humiliated and lived like an animal for seven years before acknowledging God.
