Software and children’s online activities are easily found on the Internet using
search engines such as Google or MSN. Enter www.google.com or
www.msn.com for search engine access and a query / topic of interest, such as,
children’s software or children’s math software. If a specific character is
preferred, for example, DORA the EXPLORER, enter that information as the
query. Discover all that the Web has to offer along with unlimited sources for
software and activities.
These same search techniques will be helpful when researching information and
assistive or adaptive devices for those with special needs.
