1. Team Success Outline
1. The team meets up to discuss everyone’s roles.
2. The roles are given out to each of the members.
3. The web designer is assigned to get started on the websites look.
4. The web author is assigned to start getting the copy right patent for the site.
5. The web developer is assigned to start putting things into the site like the information etc.
6. And then the webmaster position is assigned to a member, he will be the administrator
who monitors the site at all times.
7. Now that the tasks have been giving out we must meet with the client.
8. The client will tell us exactly what they want on the site and the way they want it to be
displayed.
9. The Client Liaison Rep will help the client with making some of the bigger decisions like
paying etc.
10. Once the team has got a good idea of what the client wants we will begin to work on it.
11. The web designer will make three templates for us to start adding the information too.
12. The reason for having three templates is to give the client three different choices for that.
13. Then the web developer will begin to add in the information the way the client explained
they wanted it.
14. After getting a rough draft done for each of the themes/templates with the general look of
how it’s going to be we take a break and save what we have.
15. We will then meet with the client again to show them what we have done.
16. The client will then pick one of the three choices for what they want the site to look like.
17. After the client has choose what they want, the team will resume working on the template
that the client chose.
18. A lot of time will be spent perfecting the site to get it exactly how the client wants it.
19. After we feel as a team the site is where it should be and it meets what the client wanted
we will then finish it up and meet with the client.
20. If the client is okay with the finished site we will then get it published.
21. The web author will have the patents so that no one can copy the site.
22. The webmaster will be the admin of the site to report any problems or issues that happen
after it is published.
23. A month after the site has been published we will meet with the client one more time to
be sure they are happy with the site and have not had any problems.
24. If there are any problems the team would begin to work on them to find a solution as
soon as possible.
I think the reason that our team was successful when other teams were not is because we have
really good communication. We also never argue and when we do have disagreements we try to
bring them together to come up with something better. Communication is probably the number
one thing you need when working as a team and that’s what we have that gave us an upper hand.
