For years the Egyptian market has been witnessing a growing demand on a particular skill set that is only provided through the ISACA worldwide organization, which has no local representative in Egypt. This is also the case in many countries in the Arab region. Recently, the ISACA Cairo chapter was established, and is considered a cornerstone in covering a wide long lasting gap. As a member in the ISACA Cairo chapter, the author of this paper has had the opportunity to witness its evolution and growth and believes in the potential capabilities of ISACA that could contribute to the development of the Egyptian society. It was amazing and rich experience to observe the dynamics of how tasks and activities evolve. This paper accumulates and documents the author’s experience from the chapter’s first monthly meeting held in Feb. 2015, to-date.

The aim of this paper was to shed light on the potential society development role played by
one of the newly established professional chapters to:
1- Advance audience understanding of an application of inclusive business model in the
Egyptian society
2- Present process and contextual related challenges facing this starting professional entity
More research and follow up is needed to study and measure the contribution of this and
other professional organizations to the societal, organizational, professional and student
development
