1. Final Synopsis – Music Video
Narrative:
A character who remains anonymous, that features in the video was once a good friend of the band
who had a bright future ahead of them but went off the rails when they got involved in drugs. The
band, after trying to help him, have now got nothing to do with him. The song is about the
character’s dealings with drugs. The character starts the video bywalking fast down a dimly lit street,
wearing a mask with their hood up and hands in pockets. The next time we see the character, he’s
rolling a cigarette then a joint later on the video. The video shows the character’s demise into drugs
as by the end of the video the character is making a line of coke with a credit card in their ‘crack den’
(shed)
Performance:
Joey is playing the guitar leaning against a wall as the character walks past him in their hoody
Band live performance as a unit in their rehearsal area
Band live performance as a unit at a gig with NO audience
James, Joey and Calum all play separately in a field during the day
