21. They should have faith in honesty and integrity.
Should be truthful in their dealings.
Should treat members of the public and colleagues with courtesy
and respect.

All attempts to disperse a crowd by warnings,
exhortations, etc., shall be made before it is
declared an unlawful assembly and, as such, ordered
to disperse.
26. No police officer may inflict, instigate or tolerate any
act of torture or other cruel, in-human, or
degrading treatment.
Any police officer is not allowed to invoke superior
orders, on the pretext of a threat to national
security internal political instability or any other
public emergency as a justification of torture or
other cruel, in-human, or degrading treatment or
punishment.

performance of their duties.
Officers should attend work promptly when roistered
for duty.
If absent through sickness or
injury, they should avoid activities likely to retard
their return to duty.
