When the user calls after receiving the subscription confirmation SMS, will play the app
intro prompt and instruct him about the flow. If the user wants to hear the instruction of
the flow in between the app, a prompt will play in the intro saying that he/she can
select a universal key which is 9 at any time to know more about the application. There
we’ll guide the user about the application use(The instruction flow is discussed in the
next topic).

1.User needs to spell the letters of a word.
2.User needs to select * from the phone keypad to differentiate each letter
 Example: F*R*I*E*N*D
 3. In case of more than a word the user have to selects # to differentiate.
 Example: V*I*T*A*M*I*N#A
                                                                                      5
Mobile Dictionary

This prompt will play only once in a day to the user and Will randomly pick and play the English
word/clip and its description to the first time and repeat users. To support this feature we’ll be
creating the separate category and will integrate the same in the application, and store the
recorder clips in it. These contents needs to be refreshed on weekly basis.

Before playing the word of the day, will instruct the user to select # option to pause
and check the options during the clip and after completion of the clip will repeat the same
instructions to the user to 1.Reply the clip. 2.To add the clip in my library. 3.Skip to the next level
(only to the 2nd time user) and 4.To move to the search level.

                                                                                                     6
Mobile Dictionary

This option will be applicable only to the repeat user where he/she can hear the previous
searched word. This feature will help the user to recall the previous heard clip and can add the
same to My Library list.

Before playing the previous heard/searched word will play the pre-clip(#) to pause and check the
options. And once the clip is paused or completed will play the 1.Repeat, 2.Add to my library list
and 3.Move to the search level options.

                                                                                              7

This will be the initial search flow in the application. This is just like the normal search flow as we
use in the current application like M-Search. When the user invokes the app he/she will be asked
to speak out the choice of word loud and clear after the beep. And once the input of the user is
captured will hit the URL from application to CMS(Nemo)/LocalCMS(Amoeba) where the clips
are stored and present with the matched output.

What happens if the matched output is not correct/the user has not given the proper
input?
For the above scenario we’ll ask the user to speak out the letters of a word clearly into the phone
and if the user is still not able to find in the 2nd attempt. Will play the
above prompt again, and will ask the user if he/she is interested to search
the word in alphabetical capsule. (The same is explained in the next slide)
                                                                                                    8
Mobile Dictionary

Capsule and DTMF search enables the user to search the word in the given alphabet capsules.
For example when user selects the option to search the contents in capsule format. The
application will present the user with A,B,C upto Z capsule’s, and will ask the user to select any
one capsule where he/she is looking for the desired word. Once he selects the capsule we’ll ask
him to enter the correct match word or first 3 letters of the word. With the given input application
will give the maximum similar output.

What happens if the matched output is not correct/the user has not given the proper
input?
In the above scenario if the user gives the wrong or invalid input we’ll ask the user to key in the
first 2 to 3 letter of the word and based upon the user input the application will list the possible
words that will match his/her search.

                                                                                                       9
Mobile Dictionary

Mobile dictionary enables users to add his favorite word with the meaning to My Albums by
pressing the eight (8) key while the clip is being played. And when the user calls back we'll
provide him with the universal number to hear his/her favorite words added earlier.

This is the end of the mobile dictionary application. The same can be implemented for
another new app called CINEMA SEARCH which enables the user to search his/her
favorite movie’s and does the same operations like adding the movie to my favorite,
setting RBT, dedicating the song and inviting friends through SMS to browse the
application

                                                                                          10
New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF)

The new M-search engine is more precise and updated versions from the existing model
which allows the user to search the favorite song or movie or word (for mobile dictionary) in
the most precise way. The search can be happened in voice as well as from the DTMF input.

1.User calls the app and says his desired movie name/song name/word in each letter. For
example: For the movie Guzaarish the user spells out the name of the movie like
 GUZAARISH/GUJARISH/GUZARISH etc.

2.The app takes the input of each alphabet and prompts back the given input
from the database prompts assigned to each GRAMMAR. (The architecture
                                                                                             11
is explained in the next slide)
New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF)
When the user speaks out each letter of a word. Each alphabet will be designated with a
GRAMMAR in the application and each GRAMMAR will be assigned with the prompt in the
application to confirm the letters which have been recorded. Plz refer the below three steps of
the voice search process.

1.User spells FRIEND

2.In Backend each letter is recorded in the database with the GRAMMAR
F R I E N D
(‘ef’,’af’) (‘ar’, ‘er’) (‘aie’,’ie’) (‘ee’,’e’) (‘an’,’n’) (‘de’,’di’)

3.Application will confirms the GRAMMAR and plays back the prompts from the
application of the recorded letters.
                                                                                                  12
New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF)
3.Once the user confirms the input, each letter forms a word in the database and searches the
same.
4.Once the search is complete it gives the maximum similar output of the song/movie/word
which is being searched in the application.

NOTE: During the search the user may not know the correct spelling of his search.
He/she can spell the first 3 to 4 letters of the word and then the application will give the
maximum similar output for the same

1.To differentiate each letters the user selects * while speaking each letter. For eg
  H*U*M
2.In case of multiple words in single search user selects #. For eg:
                                                                                          13
  H*U*M#T*U*M
  Output: HUM TUM
New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF)

Capsule or DTMF search enables the user to search the word in the given alphabet capsules.
For example: The application will present the user with A,B,C upto Z capsule’s, and will ask the
user to select any one capsule where he/she is looking for the desired song/movie/word. Once
he selects the capsule we’ll ask him to enter the correct match word or first 3 letters of the
word. With the provided input the application will give the maximum similar output to the user.

The same is explained with the example in the next slide:

                                                                                                  14
New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF)

1.User selects G capsule and the application prompts the user to enter the word of the
song/movie/word which he is looking for.

2.User enters GUZAARISH and selects search option.

3.Application searches for the word if exists in the Database and provides the
exact and other similar word output.

4.If the user enters wrong/doesn’t knows the spelling. He can enter first 3 letters
Like GUZA and selects search. The app will provide him the maximum similar
output with the words starting from GUZA.

This is end of New M-Search Engine for voice and DTMF. The same can be
                                                                                      15

  • 3. Mobile Dictionary Mobile Dictionary is a subscription based ‘Voice’ application which enables users to have the experience of searching/browsing the words exists in the normal English dictionary. On accessing the application users will be able to search the word just by speaking out its name or browsing the same in a alphabetical capsules. The contents present in this application will be from a normal English dictionary which makes easy to understand the common user. This application not only helps the user to search the word but, also gives the option to save in its favorite list box (Jus like My Album list). 3
  • 4. Mobile Dictionary The subscription app will be configured to a multimodal number and when the user invokes the app will provide him/her with the two options before proceeding the actual subscription. 1.)Free Trail of the product and 2.) Subscription of the product 1.)Free Trail: For the first time user, will allow to experience the mobile dictionary application within the given time. Once the free trial is over will take the user to subscription of the product. 2.)Subscription of the product: Will play the subscription intro prompt with its usage and charging. A unique subscription ID/Event key will be configured in the subscription manager when the user selects to subscribe the product will hit the URL to sub mgr and once activated the sub mgr send the SMS to the user to browse the application. 4
  • 5. Mobile Dictionary When the user calls after receiving the subscription confirmation SMS, will play the app intro prompt and instruct him about the flow. If the user wants to hear the instruction of the flow in between the app, a prompt will play in the intro saying that he/she can select a universal key which is 9 at any time to know more about the application. There we’ll guide the user about the application use(The instruction flow is discussed in the next topic). 1.User needs to spell the letters of a word. 2.User needs to select * from the phone keypad to differentiate each letter Example: F*R*I*E*N*D 3. In case of more than a word the user have to selects # to differentiate. Example: V*I*T*A*M*I*N#A 5
  • 6. Mobile Dictionary This prompt will play only once in a day to the user and Will randomly pick and play the English word/clip and its description to the first time and repeat users. To support this feature we’ll be creating the separate category and will integrate the same in the application, and store the recorder clips in it. These contents needs to be refreshed on weekly basis. Before playing the word of the day, will instruct the user to select # option to pause and check the options during the clip and after completion of the clip will repeat the same instructions to the user to 1.Reply the clip. 2.To add the clip in my library. 3.Skip to the next level (only to the 2nd time user) and 4.To move to the search level. 6
  • 7. Mobile Dictionary This option will be applicable only to the repeat user where he/she can hear the previous searched word. This feature will help the user to recall the previous heard clip and can add the same to My Library list. Before playing the previous heard/searched word will play the pre-clip(#) to pause and check the options. And once the clip is paused or completed will play the 1.Repeat, 2.Add to my library list and 3.Move to the search level options. 7
  • 8. Mobile Dictionary This will be the initial search flow in the application. This is just like the normal search flow as we use in the current application like M-Search. When the user invokes the app he/she will be asked to speak out the choice of word loud and clear after the beep. And once the input of the user is captured will hit the URL from application to CMS(Nemo)/LocalCMS(Amoeba) where the clips are stored and present with the matched output. What happens if the matched output is not correct/the user has not given the proper input? For the above scenario we’ll ask the user to speak out the letters of a word clearly into the phone and if the user is still not able to find in the 2nd attempt. Will play the above prompt again, and will ask the user if he/she is interested to search the word in alphabetical capsule. (The same is explained in the next slide) 8
  • 9. Mobile Dictionary Capsule and DTMF search enables the user to search the word in the given alphabet capsules. For example when user selects the option to search the contents in capsule format. The application will present the user with A,B,C upto Z capsule’s, and will ask the user to select any one capsule where he/she is looking for the desired word. Once he selects the capsule we’ll ask him to enter the correct match word or first 3 letters of the word. With the given input application will give the maximum similar output. What happens if the matched output is not correct/the user has not given the proper input? In the above scenario if the user gives the wrong or invalid input we’ll ask the user to key in the first 2 to 3 letter of the word and based upon the user input the application will list the possible words that will match his/her search. 9
  • 10. Mobile Dictionary Mobile dictionary enables users to add his favorite word with the meaning to My Albums by pressing the eight (8) key while the clip is being played. And when the user calls back we'll provide him with the universal number to hear his/her favorite words added earlier. This is the end of the mobile dictionary application. The same can be implemented for another new app called CINEMA SEARCH which enables the user to search his/her favorite movie’s and does the same operations like adding the movie to my favorite, setting RBT, dedicating the song and inviting friends through SMS to browse the application 10
  • 11. New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF) The new M-search engine is more precise and updated versions from the existing model which allows the user to search the favorite song or movie or word (for mobile dictionary) in the most precise way. The search can be happened in voice as well as from the DTMF input. 1.User calls the app and says his desired movie name/song name/word in each letter. For example: For the movie Guzaarish the user spells out the name of the movie like GUZAARISH/GUJARISH/GUZARISH etc. 2.The app takes the input of each alphabet and prompts back the given input from the database prompts assigned to each GRAMMAR. (The architecture 11 is explained in the next slide)
  • 12. New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF) When the user speaks out each letter of a word. Each alphabet will be designated with a GRAMMAR in the application and each GRAMMAR will be assigned with the prompt in the application to confirm the letters which have been recorded. Plz refer the below three steps of the voice search process. 1.User spells FRIEND 2.In Backend each letter is recorded in the database with the GRAMMAR F R I E N D (‘ef’,’af’) (‘ar’, ‘er’) (‘aie’,’ie’) (‘ee’,’e’) (‘an’,’n’) (‘de’,’di’) 3.Application will confirms the GRAMMAR and plays back the prompts from the application of the recorded letters. 12
  • 13. New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF) 3.Once the user confirms the input, each letter forms a word in the database and searches the same. 4.Once the search is complete it gives the maximum similar output of the song/movie/word which is being searched in the application. NOTE: During the search the user may not know the correct spelling of his search. He/she can spell the first 3 to 4 letters of the word and then the application will give the maximum similar output for the same 1.To differentiate each letters the user selects * while speaking each letter. For eg H*U*M 2.In case of multiple words in single search user selects #. For eg: 13 H*U*M#T*U*M Output: HUM TUM
  • 14. New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF) Capsule or DTMF search enables the user to search the word in the given alphabet capsules. For example: The application will present the user with A,B,C upto Z capsule’s, and will ask the user to select any one capsule where he/she is looking for the desired song/movie/word. Once he selects the capsule we’ll ask him to enter the correct match word or first 3 letters of the word. With the provided input the application will give the maximum similar output to the user. The same is explained with the example in the next slide: 14
  • 15. New M-Search Engine (Voice and DTMF) 1.User selects G capsule and the application prompts the user to enter the word of the song/movie/word which he is looking for. 2.User enters GUZAARISH and selects search option. 3.Application searches for the word if exists in the Database and provides the exact and other similar word output. 4.If the user enters wrong/doesn’t knows the spelling. He can enter first 3 letters Like GUZA and selects search. The app will provide him the maximum similar output with the words starting from GUZA. This is end of New M-Search Engine for voice and DTMF. The same can be 15 applied for RBT search with the existing RBT application.
