Work Description
 Working as Mechanical Design Engineer dealing with various mechanical Systems
(HVAC, PLUMBING AND FIRE FIGHTING) in constructions of buildings and industries.
 Receiving all the tender documents (scope of work, addendums etc) submitted by
contractors for respective projects and preparing BOQs respectively.
 Preparation of budget sheets /material takeoffs as per tender documents and IFC
Drawings.
 Coordinating with Civil Engineering team for all MEP requirements at design stage.
 Preparing of Design/shop drawings/builders work and details drawings for
mechanical systems.
 Following all the standards (ASPE, ASHRAE, SMACNA AND NFPA) while designing
mechanical system.

2.  Following up with Consultant / Client for material/design/shop drawing approvals.
 Performing Plumbing, HVAC and Fire Fighting Design calculations.
 Responsible for submitting the Material submittals to the consultants for approval.
 Following up with Procurement Department for Material Submittals and Pricing in
coordination with the vendor/supplier.
 Preparation of drawing log and material log as per planned schedule for respective
projects.
 Preparation of variations as per the design changes.
 Preparation of co-ordination drawings.
 Preparing the method statements for all mechanical works.
 Responsible for implementing and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site.
 Responsible for any site related design and execution issues.
 Responsible for Estimating, preparing and assigning the resources such as
manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all
Mechanical and related works prior to execution.
 Responsible for Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
 Monitoring the progress against the approved plans bringing to notice potential
problems or delays.
 Any other assignment allocated by the management from time to time related to
MEP works.
 Meeting deadlines & trying best to accomplish the task in the stipulated time frame
& ensure safe working as per HSE regulations.
