1. Unexplainable emotions
An essay on our first Comenius meeting
9–14 December 2013, Bulgaria
We spent only a week together but I will remember it all my life. It
was an unforgettable week.... A week full of joy, happiness, a lot of
smiles, laughter... so much positive energy...
I won’t forget a single day of that week... I will always remember
our visit to the Museum House of Humour and Satire in Gabrovo. I
have never been there. The fact that I was with all these people
made those two days in Gabrovo just perfect. Everyone was all the
time smiling... there was no way to be unhappy. We didn’t know
each other except for the guys from each partner school, but this
was not a problem for anyone...we communicated so easily...
There was something special even in the air... that you can’t give
an explanation to...you can only feel it...feel it with your heart. As in
A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh Piglet asks Pooh ‘’How do you spell
love?’’ / ‘’You don’t spell it... you feel it’’ – Pooh answers.
If you haven’t been part of such a school project you couldn’t
understand the emotions we’ve been going through no matter how
we explain it because there are some things in the world which
can’t be explained unless you feel it yourself... these are the real
precious things in life... like that unforgettable week... these
unexplainable emotions... and all the people we became friends
with...
If I was a writer I would try to put in words everything that
happened during that week... If I was a singer, I would sing a song
about all that remained forever in my heart… But, unfortunately, I
am none of these so I will keep all the nice people I met and all
wonderful experiences deep in my heart.... And even if I don’t meet
some of them again I will remember everybody...
The amazing thing is that we were all so different and in the same
time so close... like a spring bouquet of flowers... Somehow we
became one...
