OBJECTIVE I am passionate about making a difference to others by mentoring, teaching, coaching

conscientious and passionate manager with excellent communication and

Strong work ethic and ability to deal with people at all levels. Personable and down to

Accomplishments: Three consecutive years of additional payments for outstanding performance,
embedding of professional qualifications into the courses (Chartered Institute of Marketing, CAM
Foundation, Google Analytics and PRINCE2). National Student Survey improvements of 15% from 72%
to 87%, good honours average 87.7%, Interventions increased progression to award 95.7%,
completions rates for NSS 83%, winner of the employability and enterprise awards for employer
contribution to real world learning, embedding of livebriefs, employability skills and business
simulation experiences in the curriculum to improve the student learning experience. European
network and Erasmus contacts enabled increased staff and student mobility and new agreements. Five
partner bids resulting in one successful bid of £27,000.

Foundation for Quality Management model. Change management programme. Customer relationship
programme. New business Partner programme. New telemarketing function. On-line collateral saved
£55K. Re-structured marketing department of 14 staff to improve effectiveness and efficiencies within

1999-1999
Responsibilities – To establish and maintain a global branding identity, Deliver a marketing plan to
support the global strategy and take responsibility for marketing activities. Reported to Managing
Director.
Accomplishments: Planned, managed and implemented an international group corporate identity.
Competitor analysis for new market penetration in the ticketing and leisure industry.
MARKETING MANAGER – CSI LIMITED PART OF THE EMERSON PROCESS MANAGEMENT GROUP
1998-1999
Responsibilities – Headhunted to set-up and manage the UK office of a US based business and market
the company in the UK/EMEA countries. Marketing of predictive maintenance products. Strategies to
maximize sales through distributor channels. Co-ordination of business functions. Brand management
for Europe. Reported to Director of Consultancy Services in Knoxville, USA.
Accomplishments: Sales opportunities increased by 200%, quotes increased by 92% in six months
(£366K). 40% increase in UK sales leading to sales targets of $1.4 million. Recruited, trained and
managed staff for UK office.
