Existence of competition still boils the blood when served with the principle of divide and rule. With the advancement in technology, the ways of warfare have changed accordingly from stones and swords to ammunition while the avidity of humans to conquer the throne is still the same. Come, witness and get an experience of the clash between the advanced technological automated robots prevailing over their foes for prestige in battle field of Techfest 2014 in the month of January under the dome of competitions.
4. Magneto
• Teams must build a wireless controlled machine that is controlled
solely by wrist movement.
• The robots must compete in a one-on-one match to transfer the balls
to opponent’s arena to earn maximum points.
• The robot must do the allotted task within the time stipulated.
5. Polaroid:
Puzzle of Pixel
• Teams have to make a 'pirate' bot which will make a pattern using
principle of image processing.
6. Hover-On
• Team must build an autonomous hovercraft to traverse through the
arena using line following mechanism.
7. Scholastic
• Open for the students of 8th – 12th standard.
• Team must build a wireless controlled DC propulsion vehicle.

10. FullThrottle:
The Chase
• Make a wireless remote controlled machine, powered
only by an IC engine, which can race against other
opponents on an off-road dirt track with many
obstacles.
11. Aviator
Flying Design
• The competition requires the
participant to perform a set of
manoeuvres.
• The participants will have to do
spot landing i.e. land the plane in
a define area after completing the
manoeuvres.
• Design and make a fast, light,
wireless remote controlled
aircraft (using electric motors
only), which can manoeuvre
around the mentioned path and
having a maximum wing loading
in the least possible time, before
landing in the specified zone.
12. CassiopeianWars
• Continuing the trend of bringing the most exciting gala of
bots, Techfest once again brings the National Zonals -
Cassiopeian Wars to test the 3 basics in technology in
each element of the competition.

• Workshops shall be conducted with an aim of grooming the
students with the fundamentals of ethical hacking and cyber
security, which are no doubt the most exciting part of the event.
• Finalists for the Hack Tricks competition will be selected by zonal
legs of the Ethical Hacking Outreach Program pan India.

• The team will be submitting timely reports after the event
begins mentioning all the activities they have performed by
providing proof, as mentioned in the submission criterion for
every particular task. The tasks have been divided into 3
categories viz. easy, medium and hard. Points will be awarded
accordingly by the judges along with a provision of partial
marking on the basis of the accomplishment of tasks to give
credit and appreciation to their efforts.
