Memorize Ephesians 4:3-6 together.
Q: How does our culture of multi denominations contradict
this key verse?
Q: How does this verse challenge us as a congregation
where not everyone agrees on interpretations regarding the
God-head or how the Holy Spirit works?
Q: What is the key point Paul is making in these verses?
The distinction between uniformity and unity.
Uniformity is driven by fear, control, and compliance. It is
more about religious regulations than relational unity.
Unity is driven by grace, freedom, and being Christ-like. It
more about relationships build on Jesus and love than
religious compliance.
Q: How are most modern churches closer to the uniformity
model than the unity model?
Q: How are most modern church structures similar to the
Pharisaic model of uniformity?
Q: Describe what must can be done to change an
unhealthy uniformity model to the healthy, sound doctrine
one of the unity model.
Q: The term “sound doctrine” is used by Paul. Sound mean
“healthy” not rules. Explain how this also ties into Paul’s
use of unhealthy doctrine as gangrene.

occurs when different notes are arranged together to
