Editor's Notes

  1. Many denominations are in decline and leaders are perplexed to know how to reverse the downward trend. Where will the next generation of leaders come from with the spiritual discernment and mission skills to reverse the trends? What skills will be required? We have placed too much attention on leadership positions and too little on leadership functions. Too much is expected of the “Senior Pastor.” No such individual as the omni-competent pastor, able to fulfill all the functions of leadership necessary for the church to respond to the manifold ministries that the Ascended Lord has entrusted to his church.
