•Hypertension treatment is not only to reduce and control BP, but also to prevent organ damage and mortality
•Not all antihypertensive (RAAS-I) is the same.
•ACE inhibitors significantly reduce total mortality in hypertensive patients compare to ARB
•Perindopril is the most proven ACE-I that is effective all along the cardiovascular disease continuum in monotherapy or in combination.
•Perindopril/Amlodipine combination rapidly achieve BP goal and control other BP Parameters (BP Variability, CABP, Night time BP)
•Until now, Perindopril/Amlodipine is the only RAAS Inhibitor-Amlodipine combination that has clinical outcome data
