Personal Reflection Extract # 2
As the day goes by, different challenges and experiences are coming into my life. These
challenges are making me strong and making me a better person. Some of the challenges that I
have encountered are being a daughter, a sister and a student. These three serves as a
challenge to me because these three differ in each other because of the different roles that it
has.
First as being a daughter to my parents, I think this is the most challenging among the
three because expectations are there. My parents expect a lot to me that I have to do this and
that. Like for example, I have to obey and respect them all the time on whatever they say and I
have to follow them all the time. Follow what they command and do it without any hatred or
anger.
Moving on with the second challenge that I have mentioned is that on being a sister to
my siblings. I find this challenging because I have to be a role model to all my siblings especially
to my younger sister because as what they say, “kuyas and ates must be a role model to all the
younger sisters and brothers” . And in regards with this, I have to be a role model and a
responsible sister so that nothing will comment on me on being a sister.
Lastly, the third challenge is that on being a student because as a student many
responsibilities must be accomplished. Some of these are to study for your exams, quizzes,
seatworks, exercises, do your paper, homeworks and other projects that are required by the
teacher or the professor. Being a student is the hardest part of my life but it is the most fun
among the three. It is the hardest part because it each day you go to school is a new experience
with new consequences that one must undertake. You meet new people, friends, professors as
you go to school everyday. And of course being a student, you learn new things and these
learnings must apply in your everyday life because these learnings serve as a key or path to
your life in the near future that’s why on how you act as a student reflects on a person on what
life she/he’ll has in the future.

2. Challenges help me a lot as a person because these challenges serve as a test to me
on how to handle things accordingly. It also serves as a learning to me because as we all know,
we learn from our experiences either good or bad. I’m just grateful because without the
challenges that I have overcome, I’m not like this, not a strong person but with those challenges,
I can say that I am a strong person now.
I see myself in the near future having a happy family that will be an instrument to me to
work harder, to be stronger, to be more responsible and to know how to love. And I believe that
whatever I experience in my college life will serve as an instrument to be a better person and
will help me apply the learnings that are taught to me.
Educ190’s lessons and experiences helped me a lot to understand new things and to
discover my talents when it comes to computer related things. Some of these are applying my
skills in different softwares that I surely think that will help me in the future especially in my work.
