The ODCE has adopted four focus areas that directly support the strategic imperatives of the University. The goal is to implement diversity
initiatives that improve:

Institution Receptivity – Foster an inviting campus environment that respects differences and encourages inclusiveness.

The ODCE seeks to implement effective policies and procedures that represent the University’s commitment to building a diverse
community of scholars, students and staff, and an educational community that fosters inclusiveness and opportunity. In order to achieve
these goals, ODCE will work collaboratively with other UT Dallas departments and community organizations to implement the Five Year
Strategic Plan.
