2.  Born November 14, 1954, Birmingham
Alabama, U.S.
 An only child.
 Her parents were Angelina Rice, a school
teacher. Also John Wesley Rice Jr., a high
school guidance counselor and a Presbyterian
Minister.
 Raised in Denver, Colorado.
 Attended Private Catholic school.

3.  Condoleezza was a bright student and also
very athletic.
 Was the first woman and African American to
serve as a Provost of Stanford University.
 Earned her Bachelors degree in political Science
from the University of Denver in 1984.
 She got her masters from Notre Dame in 1975.
 She studied for her PhD from the University of
Denver’s graduate school of international
studies in 1981.

4.  Was appointed the National Security Advisor
by George W. Bush, she was the first African
American and second woman to have this
position.

5.  Rice really wanted to prove her self to
everybody.
 By challenging men and becoming the first
women Secretary of State, she not only sowed
that she could do her job, but women could
too.
