Qingdao Boffin-Toda Advanced Ceramics Co., Ltd., developing business since
2007. We are specialized in manufacture and sale of ceramic foam filters, used
in the foundry industry. Manufacture of other refractory is the complementary
production to foam filters.
A high ratio of created profit is allocated to development of production
technologies and production environment, investment into R&D focused on
development of the existing product lines and creation of the new products,
cooperation with specialized universities and research institutes. Above are the
core priorities of our company.
Our company has passed the ISO9001:2008 certification, Typical products are
as follows: silicon carbide ceramic foam filter, alumina ceramic foam filter,
zirconia ceramic foam filter and other refractory which is also used for foundry
industry.
Our Products
Ceramic Foam Filter
Filtration of Iron(CFF-S)
CFF-S is a range of new generation silicon carbide based ceramic foam filters
with a consistent, high level performance in terms of metal flow rate and
filtration efficiency. CFF-S filters are intended for filtering grey, ductile iron and
nonferrous metals at the temperatures up to 1480 °C. The filters can be placed
in the gating system of the mould as well as in combination with exothermic
extensions for direct casting. They can also be used for continuous nonferrous
metal filtering, e.g. casting of copper bars in CONTIROD or SCR TECHNOLOGY.
CFF-S are available in many standard and custom sizes, shapes, and pore sizes.
Filtration of Non-ferrous Alloys(CFF-A)
CFF-A is alumina based ceramic foam filter which are used for temperatures up
to a limit of 1100℃. CFF-A is most suited for the filtration of aluminum,
aluminum alloys and other nonferrous for foundry and metallurgical
applications. The filters can easily be placed into filtration boxes, holding
furnaces, filtering cups, etc.
CFF-A are available in many standard and custom sizes, shapes, and pore sizes.
Filtration of Steel Alloys(CFF-Z)
CFF-Z based on partially stabilized zirconia withstand temperatures up to
1700℃. CFF-Z is used in the filtration of steel grades from carbon to stainless
and super alloys. There are many benefits to the steel foundry including fewer
reoxidation and subsurface defects and a higher casting yield. CFF-Z is highly
thermal shock resistant, a must for the steel foundry.
CFF-Z are available in many standard and custom sizes, shapes, and pore sizes.
2. Other Refractory
Honeycomb ceramic filter(HCF-M)
HCF-M is mullite based ceramic material withstand temperatures up to 1500℃.
They have a uniform lattice structure, good thermal shock resistance, higher
specific surface area, low-pressure drop. For the features above, HCF-M is not
only suited for the filtration of grey, ductile iron and nonferrous metals but also
for the heat storage bed and catalyst carrier.
Ceramic Pouring Cup (CPC)
CPC is used for investment casting technology, They are mullite based ceramic
material and molding at high pressure. They are fit for casting ferrous as well as
nonferrous metals, withstand the most extreme conditions within superalloys
casting.
Fiber Mesh Filter(MF)
MF are produced by heat resistance fiber in special technique and
after-treatment. With features of lower cost, convenient using, no impact on
element of metal casting, heat resistance, flame resistance, MF is an ideal
filtration materials for various molten metal. MF can be used in sand casting,
gravity and low pressure die casting.
There are three kinds of MF can be used in different applications. Details are as
