EARTH WORK STRATEGY
• Earth Work is identified as one of the Critical Activities
• Propose deployment of in-house excavation work
machineries for round the clock working.
• Sufficient Excavation machinery to be deployed.
• Sufficient Dumpers for transporting excavated & backfill
material to be deployed
• Entire Earth Work planned to be completed in 15 Days.

CONCRETE STRATEGY
• Total Scope – 2,105 CUM
• Peak Concrete Quantity per Month – 1,200 CUM
• Peak Concrete Quantity per Day – 47 CUM
• It is planned to bring RMC from our own Batching Plants located at
Hinjewadi & Pashan, which are only 45min journey from site (Approx.
25Km)
• It is planned to bring Boom Placer on need basis for major concrete pours.
• Immediate checking of RCC Members for concreting is taken into
consideration.

STRATEGY FOR CONSTRUCTION BULK MATERIALS
• Aggregate will be sourced locally.
• River/Crushed sand will be sourced locally.
• Cement will be procured from reputed cement
manufacturing agencies in bags and through bulker, as
required.
• For Structural works, good quality Electrodes & welding
rectifiers will be used.

STRATEGY – LOCAL ENVIRONMENT
• UIL is already executing major projects in all corners of Pune City & Suburbs.
• UIL has already developed local networks, which will help run the project smoothly.
• Proposals to be implemented in “Project Rangoli”:
• Consider small jobs/ non-technical works for local people/ local agencies
• Skills development of local people
• Manage relations with community
• Manage relations with local Government agencies.
• Welfare of workmen as topmost priority
• Maintain high health & hygiene standards in labour colony

CONCRETE STRATEGY • Total Scope – 2,105 CUM • Peak Concrete Quantity per Month – 1,200 CUM • Peak Concrete Quantity per Day – 47 CUM • It is planned to bring RMC from our own Batching Plants located at Hinjewadi & Pashan, which are only 45min journey from site (Approx. 25Km) • It is planned to bring Boom Placer on need basis for major concrete pours. • Immediate checking of RCC Members for concreting is taken into consideration. 23

STRATEGY FOR CONSTRUCTION BULK MATERIALS • Aggregate will be sourced locally. • River/Crushed sand will be sourced locally. • Cement will be procured from reputed cement manufacturing agencies in bags and through bulker, as required. • For Structural works, good quality Electrodes & welding rectifiers will be used. 24
