Advantage: Intuitive structure 、 Few PCB categories.
Disadvantage: North and South poles (45°north latitude,
45°south latitude) can’t show the images properly, result in
low rate image usage or seriously deformed image.

All the pixels for image source are
arranged in rows and columns at
present, but the pixels for South and
North poles of watermelon peel LED
Sphere Display are arranged in circles,
so can’t show the image properly.

Advantage: Overcome the shortcomings of watermelon Peel LED
Display, can show images properly in North and South poles, and improve the
image usage rate.

4-2. Advantage:
(1)-Less PCB categories than football LED Sphere Display
(2)-Pixels arrangement and minimum pixel pitch close to regular plane
LED Display, so all the images show on the regular plane LED display
can also be shown on hexahedral panoramic LED Sphere Display
properly, better effect than Watermelon Peel and Triangle LED Sphere
Display
(3)-24pcs cabinets design, can be put into flight case easily, fast
assembling and disassembling, suitable for rental use
(4)- Software broadcasting: can show one whole video on the whole
sphere, for example: Globe etc. Can also show 6 different videos on 6
surfaces( Up, down, left, right, front and rear surface).
(5)- Can also show different videos individually or together by software,
it’s very important for diameter more than 2m, because the height of
viewer is below 2m, so the valid viewing angle is only 1/6 of sphere
surface.

1- To play 6 different image sources on 6 different
sides of the sphere.
2- To play 3 different image sources on 3 sides of
the sphere (e.g. Left Rear, Upper Right, front under
face)
3- To play 2 different image sources on 2 sides of
the sphere (Front Right on the backside, Top Left
Down). And you can also play the plane image
source on the whole sphere just like the watermelon
peel led sphere display does.
