Homework:
Choose a celebrity…
• research the different ways they are represented
• apply the constructionist view of representation to
each of the representations
• remember – they are no longer a person but a media
text. Everything you know about them has been
mediated!!
• this should be in the form of a collection of images
and/or screen grabs from different places with an analysis
of each.
Minimum – 5 images/texts and analysis of 1000 words
Hint: I do NOT want a biography or life story of your chosen
celebrity. I want to know how they are REPRESENTED.
