DistressSubtle signs may include:
• Anorexia, decreased appetite
• Lethargy
• Laying down longer than usual
• Single animal off to themselves
• Squinting or tearing (holding the eye
closed)
• Red, purple, white, or yellow gum color
• Fever (temperature greater than 101.5)
