ideology regarding childhood fun, carelessness
and wishing versus the reality of their adult life
oIt expresses the ideology of the band which is
childhood freedom and longing to be young again

oMusic video insight into main singer’s
childhood
oStart with the end – after they’ve
played dress up and with toys
o“Nobody else will ever see” – reverses
from them tired on the couch into
them having fun and acting like
children

oMain singer comes out of the grandfather clock to
room with her friends (previously asleep in
narrative) on instruments
oMain singer would be singing into microphone
oThe band would be playing drums, bass and guitar
oWhat’s projected on them performing is the band
in their costumes acting silly and childlike
oDressed in normal clothes to juxtapose the dress
up videos being displayed on them
