Seatoun Schools visit to the City to Sea museum

2. We were very excited to be
going on the bus to the City to
Sea Museum.

3. At the Museum…
we listened to the story about how Maui
fished up the North Island of New
Zealand.

4. This carving
shows Maui
with his
grandfather
s jawbone
as his
fishing
hook.

5. We read the story of how Maui
slowed the sun and made puppets.

9. At the library we used our puppets
to act out the story..

10. Maui beat the sun and made it go
more slowly.

11. It was a great
visit.
