Solution
1.a,Those currently incarcerated:
Incarceration in the United States is one of the main forms of punishment, rehabilitation, or both
for the commission of felony and other offenses. The United States has the largest prison
population in the world.
1.The number of people incarcerated in America quadrupled-from roughly 500,000 to 2.3
million people.
2.Today, the US is 5% of the World population and has 25% of world prisoners.
3.Combining the number of people in prison and jail with those under parole or probation
supervision, 1 in ever y 31 adults, or 3.2 percent of the population is under some form of
correctional control.
b).Parole is the provisional release of a prisoner who agrees to certain conditions prior to the
completion of the maximum sentence period. Most states have the ability to release prisoners on
parole after they almost surely pose no threat to the public.
c).I believe that convicted felons should be allowed to vote, indeed I believe they should actually
be allowed to vot.

c).I believe that convicted felons should be allowed to vote, indeed I believe they should actually
be allowed to vote while they are in prison,. The one exception is where the conviction is for
some kind of election fraud or actions taken to prevent people from voting. I don't believe
voting is a privilege, but rather it is a responsibility.
I think it is sad that the ex-felon have their rights to vote taken away from them; they have
already serve their time for their crime or crimes, and they shouldn't have to be further punish
for their crimes by not allowing them to vote that is like double jeopardy getting charge for the
same crime twice.
It's like taking their freedom of speech away from them, they still should have their right to
voice their opinion and that falls in line with voting as well, once they have done their time they
should be allowed to go to work, pay their taxes and take their families like everyone else and
give back to society that they live in.
I believe that if ex-felons are allowed to have an active part back in society that they will
become a productive citizen and want be accessible of going back to prison after seeing what
they lose from going. don't get me wrong now I'm a firm believer that if you can't do the time,
don't do the crime, but if do the crime and serve your time then you should have your rights
restored and not keep you locked up.
Not allowing ex-felons the opportunity to go to work, to vote, to take care of their families
properly is a form of slavery and these bans should be lifted state wide.
