The Key Art Awards have honored movie marketing art for 35 years. The awards were created in 1972 to recognize the talented artists who design posters and other graphics to promote movies. The first awards honored Bill Gold for his posters of four films, with "Johnny Got His Gun" winning best poster designed by Don Record. Now in its 35th year, the Key Art Awards have become the premier awards for movie marketing artwork.
