4. -Voltron Legendary Defenders (both/either 2016 and
1980s version/s) reference in a canonical Steven
Universe Comic by artist Katy Farina.
The characters Lance Mcclain and Keith Kogane, from
the 2016 sci-fi show 'Voltron Legendary Defenders'
(released on Netflix as a remake/rewrite of the 1980s
original) make an appearance in the comic creating a
subtle crossover. Through this easter egg, many fans
that enjoy both shows can come together through the
subtle reference.

where the characters Ejiro Kirishima and Bakugo
katsuki can be seen in the background/backdrop of
the Cartoon-Network show Steven Universe. This
subtle reference hidden in this panel create a
crossover with one of the most popular Shounen
Animes of not only the century, but of all time,
feasibly helping gain an audience with the sheer
amount of outwards-show representation and
intertextuality in the product..
