The Palm Beach Zoo is located at 1301 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was established in the 1950s when Paul Dreher urged the city to preserve the land. The zoo opened with a handful of animals and now houses birds, mammals, reptiles, fish and invertebrates. It offers educational shows and experiences for visitors, as well as children's rides and interactive exhibits. The zoo sponsors numerous conservation projects and received an award for its philanthropic efforts. Visitors can see daily feedings and learn about different species.
