On March 21, 2015, The Salvation Army held its 9th annual MOST Amazing Race fundraiser in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sixteen teams of two participated in a scavenger hunt-style race throughout downtown Fort Lauderdale, completing challenges to raise over $11,600 for The Salvation Army's programs. The top three finishing teams and top two fundraising teams received prizes. The event was a success in supporting The Salvation Army's mission.

Fort Lauderdale, FL - On Saturday, March 21, 2015, The Salva on Army held its 9th MOST Amazing Race fundraiser in downtown Fort Lauderdale. 16 teams of two fundraised to help raise over $11,600 in support of The Salva on Army’s programs, specifically, the new Open Door Shelter. On a beau ful South Florida Saturday, the teams went on a quest throughout the downtown Fort Lauderdale area to solve clues that led them to mul ple loca ons where they had to overcome various challenges. The teams tried to outmanuever and outrun each other for the top spot and to be crowned the 2015 MOST Amazing Race Champions. One by one, each team overcame challenges that included such tasks as comple ng fitness sta ons, gathering seashells at the beach, food tas ng, a studio photo shoot recrea on, paddleboarding, and more! The teams set off from Laura Ward Plaza on the New River aboard their Cycle Party bikes, into Colee Hammock & Victoria Parks, out to the Sailboat Bend neighborhood, up Las Olas to the beach, back to F.A.T. Village on B-Cycles, over to Esplanade Park, and back again. Prizes went to the teams that finished in the Top 3 (Speedies, Granitehammer Brothers, & Team Caldwell), the Top 2 fundraising teams (We Thought This Was Bingo and C-Squared), and the team with the best race ou its (Hey Blinkin!!!). A special thank you goes out to Edd Helms Group, F.P.L., and M.B.A.F. for their con nued commitment to the race and The Salva on Army.
