We joined a project visit with students and teachers from Edirne, Turkey to Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, which is 250 km from Edirne. The group participated in welcome ceremonies, city tours, cultural visits to historical villages, traditional meals and folk dancing, visiting a horse farm, and activities where students from both countries worked and enjoyed time together. The trip provided an opportunity for students to meet European friends and exchange gifts while teachers participated in coordination meetings.
The September 25, 2013 MAPA meeting covered introductions of the MAPA officers and committee chairs, a budget presentation and vote, and closing remarks. The purpose and bylaws of MAPA were summarized. MAPA's communication methods, annual plan, and budget were also presented. Faculties, departments and centers of the University annually provides training for thousands of students. The main fields of activity are the educational library and information work, museum studies, socio-cultural activities and folk art creation.
