ENGINEERING
· Designed a personalcooling system for active military members in extreme weather conditions to prevent heat
stroke conditions and death from the elements. The design took 3rd place in the AFRL national student competition.
· Constructed an environment control box for vest design. The box can control and maintain temperature and
humidity up to 120oF and 80% relative humidity to simulate Middle Eastern climates.
· Redesigned and simulated a UAV aircraft’s performance tomaximize range using MATLAB and CFD analysis using
STAR – CCM+ for a new UAV launcher.
· Analyzed rocket propulsion systems for atmospheric flight and space orbits using MATLAB. Compared multiple
fueltypes and mixtures for the Black Brant rocket using CEA.
· Formed a lunar rover using Solid Edge for a NASA student competition. The rover collects soil samples and returns
them to a testing facility for analysis.
COMMUNICATION
· Corresponded with professors to adopt future course texts and create custom books, saving students money on their
total textbook costs.
· Contacted authors and publishers of books to obtain copyrights for reprinting custom materials to follow federal
laws and regulations.
· Interacted with upset and angry spectators at soccer matches to maintain a calm, positive environment
· Taught assistant referees proper protocol commands to maintain a professional appearance and team unity,thus
maintaining a safe environment for players and spectators.
· Conducted over the phone surveys for third party clients, giving them important information for advertising,
political moves, and management changes.
LEADERSHIP & INVOLVEMENT
· Managed course textbook approvals for future semester’s classes. Ordered and stocked $2.5 million of stock annually.
· Directed a team to layout, paint, and repair city soccer fields for youth recreational soccer games, saving the regional
district $5,000 in painting and field repair.
· Mentored young men in the Boy Scouts of America, helping multiple young men earn merit badges and their Eagle
Scout awards.
