2. Looking from the cave, Ann watches as the strange intruder sleeps in his small tent. She is still very unsure about what to do. She must go back to her farm sometime, but must analyze the man in the green suit first.
3. Ann met Mr. Loomis and discovered his sickness. After a couple days, Ann helped Mr. Loomis and took him into her house. Once Loomis awakens from the first stages of his sickness, they introduce themselves. Mr. Loomis then falls back into a deep sleep.
4. After four days passed, Mr. Loomis didn’t get any sicker. He remained the same. He would get worse as he said before while he was conscious, so Ann would have to keep a close watch on him.
5. Once Loomis is better, he starts pushing Ann to garden. He gets angry when he finds out that nothing is done with the garden and farm.
6. Mr. Loomis is stuck with using a cane. As he gets better the uneasiness of the valley grows. Ann works very hard to keep the garden up and to make sure both get their meals. Ann tried to understand Mr. Loomis’ past but found that he tended to block her out and made her sound annoying. This caused the tension to rise.
7. Ann escapes to the cave. Mr. Loomis tried to rape her two nights ago and now Ann has come to the conclusion that she cannot live with Mr. Loomis anymore. She gathered food and hid out.
8. Ann and Mr. Loomis confronted and came to an agreement that Ann will live somewhere else in the valley and still farm and supply him with food as long as he left her alone. Things kept like that but eventually, things changed.
