Centuries ago, Africa’s population was not
gifted with the opportunities to listen to a
headset, watch tv, or hear what’s trending
on the radio. Africa was also denied access
to the web by their local government and
overseas due to the outrageous poverty.
Google created mechanisms which have
the ability to connect over 1 billion more
people to the web in the rural areas of
Africa. While this project was in the process
of being created, Google considered sattlite
based wireless systems to create these
wireless networks.
Google chose to create and send a blimp to
hover over the poverty filled areas in Africa.
This blimp has given these poor civilians
the oportunity to be showered with the
blessings of having more access to web
information, wireless internet, improved
electricity, and to use their resources which
may not be wireless as well.
Google has
invested in Africa,
How can we help?
