5. Mentoring support with employability.
There is considerable evidence that structured
mentoring approaches using Positive Youth
Development models result in increased levels
of emotional resilience in both the mentor and
mentee and through doing so produce benefits
in domains including health, education,
employment and youth justice DuBois,
Holloway, Valentine, & Cooper, 2002; Jolliffe &
Farrington, 2007; Lewin-Bizan et al., 2010;
Maslow & Chung, 2013; Tolan, Henry,
Schoeny, Bass, & Tolan, 2008; Wheeler, Keller,
& DuBois, 2010)
