You are asked to choose a theme for your coursework project that interests you personally and relates to what you like to draw, photograph or paint. You will use this theme throughout the project, so it is important to choose carefully. This week and over the upcoming half term break, you should create a mood board or spider diagram on your chosen theme, a page on an artist related to the theme including images and writing, a page of observational drawings, take photographs on the theme and print/save them, and do some photo editing or collaging from the photographs.

1. You now need narrow down the theme to make
your project more personal to you. Think about
what interests you, what you like to draw,
photograph, paint etc. It is important that you
choose carefully as you will use this theme for the
rest of your coursework project.

This week, next week + over Half Term……
-Create a double page mood board and/or a double page spider diagram on your
chosen theme.
-Create a double page on an Artist that links to your chosen theme.. This should
include images, writing (using the support sheets) and a transcription.
-Create a double page of observational drawings linking to your chosen theme
-Take at least 40 photographs of your chosen theme. Print these images on
photographic paper and save them onto a memory stick.

Create some phone editing, collage, manipulating from the
photographs you have taken (see next slide)
