3. Places to Visit | Shwemawdaw Paya
With 375 feet height, Shwemawdaw Paya is known to be the tallest pagoda In
Myanmar. It is especially important to Buddhists as it contains several relics
belonging to Lord Buddha.
4. Places to Visit | Shwenandaw Monastery
Shwenandaw Monastery, also known as the Golden Palace, is an important
building located in central Myanmar whilst it is a part of the Mandalay Palace
Complex. Later this place became a monastery. It is said that the building was
covered in gold back in the days.

Mrauk U is an important archeological town located in Myanmar. The
medieval town has been an Arakan capital and an important trading city in the
past. Getting to this location takes a 4 to 7 hour boat ride along a tributary of the
Kaladan River.

Buddhist monastery of Taung Kalat is one of the most breathtaking sites in
Myanmar. A visitor has to climb 777 steps to reach the summit and can enjoy a
huge number of macaque monkeys on the way.
