This document outlines the weekly syllabus for a Lower Rhetoric English class. The objectives for the quarter are discussed which include considering perspectives on God from literature and forming statements on how beliefs affect society. Students will present on projects that improved life and continue developing skills in composition, mechanics, and critical reading. The weekly activities include reading the poem "Hollow Men" by T.S. Eliot, completing grammar exercises, taking notes, and practicing critical reading and vocabulary. Journals, resources, and application of the quarterly ideas of wisdom, goodness, and honor are also assigned.
