Quarterly English Objectives:
 Spiritual: Considering the perspectives of NietzscheandRussell alongside Romans 1, students will formulate a personal state ment concerning belief in the
existence of God and His interaction with human politics, economics, andcultural life, andhow this belief (ornon-belief) in Godaffects action in government,
literature, entertainment, formal religion, andstyle in the arts.
 Social: Present individual reports on art/science/technology projects which made life more enjoyable in the UnitedStates.
 LRH I - Composition: Approaching mastery of precis’, MLA form, and develop competency in construction of an APA Research paper
 LRH I - Mechanics: Demonstrate excellence in punctuation, capitalization, spelling, andmanuscript form (No more than 3 errors/writing assgmt).
 LRH I – Critical Reading: Demonstrate strategiesforcompetent critical reading by beginning to make connections between text, other literary works, and
history.
 LRH II- Composition: Approaching mastery of precis’, MLA form and develop mastery in construction of an APA Research paper.
 LRH II - Mechanics: Demonstrate grammatical and mechanical mastery in composition (No more than 3 errors/writing assgmt).
 LRH II – Critical Reading: Demonstrate accomplishedcritical reading skills by consistently making connections between text, otherliterary works, and
history.

PSAT/SAT Workbook may also be used for weekly requirement.)
___2. Print “results,”analyze them, and place in red folder.
Website grading mechanism may record answers incorrectly but will still give an accurate
explanation of the “question.” Weekly PAideia grade will reflect completed effort, not score.
