Aim of the lesson:
to develop pupil’s communicative skills on
the topic “Christmas”;
to tech pupils to respect traditions of
different countries;
to revise grammar material – modal verbs

• Good morning children! Today we speak
about my favourite season and my
favourite holiday.
• Read the poem and try to guess:
This is the season
When children ski,
And Santa Claus
Brings the Christmas Tree!
Christmas
• It’s a happy holiday for many people in different
countries. People buy Christmas Tree and
decorate it with toys, coloured balls and lights.
• In Britain children put their stockings near their
beds. At night Santa Claus comes with a big bag
of presents. He puts the presents in the
children’s stockings.
