Breanna is a 24-year-old nursing student attending Minnesota State University Moorhead to obtain her Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She currently works as a registered nurse in a hospital in the Twin Cities. She enjoys her job helping people and being exposed to different cultures. She hopes this class will help her understand women's practices in different cultures. Uganda is a developing country in Central Eastern Africa with a population of over 21 million people. Traditionally, women in Uganda had little voice and were taught to be subordinate to men. However, in recent decades the government has pledged to eliminate discrimination against women.
