This document summarizes the rules for two traditional games: hopscotch and rope pulling. Hopscotch is played by one person drawing a diagram with ten squares on the ground and trying to hop on one foot to retrieve a pebble from square to square. Rope pulling involves two teams of 4-5 players each who take hold of a rope and pull with all their strength until one team can drag the other across a boundary line. Both games can be played outdoors and involve chalk, a pebble or stone, and a rope to play.
